Hello,
To get cse in NIT Kurukshetra you need to get a percentile of atleast 99.4+ only then you would be able to get cse branch in this college.
Any other branch would be achieved in 96-97 percentile like mechanical, electrical, chemical, civil engineering .These cut offs vary a bit depending upon certain factors like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and toughness level of the paper.

Hey there!
Well it is hard to predict about the colleges as admission to these institutes depends on various factors like:
1- Difficulty level of examination
2- No. of students appeared in exam
3- No. of seats available in institutes
4- Rank of candidate
5- Closing rank of programs
However we can get a rough idea of seat allocation by analyzing previous years trend.
---With 81 percentile and assuming your OPEN category, your rank would be anywhere in between 194370 - 218500, as per our JEE mains rank predictor tool
https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-rank-predictor
Also according to previous years data, the maximum closing rank at various NITs for general category for CS and IT program is around 6000-12000 considering home state quota.

For IT- https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/nits-cutoff-for-btech-information-technology
So, considering these data you have low chances for getting into NITs.
If you wish to know about the colleges in which you may get admission based on your score, use college predictor tool https://engineering.careers360.com/jee-main-college-predictor?utm_source=google-search&utm_medium=paid&utm_campaign=jee-main-clgpd
Thank you!
Admissions are based on "All India Ranks" and not "Percentile," so this varies from year to year. If your AIR is below 6000, based on the pattern of the previous two years, you may qualify for the home state quota. So, i think to get into NIT Kurukshetra CSE your score should be near 99 percentile(open category).

Your question is not quite clear but yes I WOULDLIKE TO TELL YOU THAT branch change is not possible at all the three institutes you have mentioned so it is advised to fill preferences very carefully as a branch once allotted will be once and for all you will have no option to get your branch changed if you talk about these institutions hence whatever change in branch is possible only during the counselling process and after it he branch allotted will be final
