College infrastructure is good. Many amenities like gyms, several canteens(with amazing food), libraries with a variety of textbooks and referral books, labs, ac classrooms, and many more upcoming amenities.
The teaching faculty is very experienced and skilled. Very skilled teachers with excellent labs equipment. The notes provided are excellent. The teachers are always available for help. They clear all doubts.
Placements are excellent. Almost 80 percent of the students end up with good jobs. The college trains you well for a good job and provides you enough opportunities for expanding your knowledge and skills.
Highly recommended college for CS and ECE. Placements are good. Campus life is amazing.
Wi-Fi facility is available here, and there are labs. Classrooms are good, clean and hygienic, and the library is good. Hostel rooms are very good, comfortable, clean and hygienic. The food served is delicious and healthy, and medical facilities are pretty much good. There are 5 canteens. Our college has a basketball, tennis, football, cricket, badminton, table tennis, carrom, chess, volleyball, throwball and a well-equipped gym.The classrooms are well maintained and each of them are
Teachers in our college are helpful and humble. They are highly qualified and understanding the problems or issues faced by the students and help them tackle those. PES University is well known for its course curriculum, and hence a lot of companies come to PES Universities for recruitment. The course curriculum is relevant, and it does make a student industry-ready.The syllabus is updated every year to meet the industry needs. For computer science students, the salary package offered is high.
Placements in our college are very good. Our college helps students a lot to work well and get placed. They invite many companies which not only motivate but also encourage and make students strive for it. The highest salary package offered in the last year was around 40 LPA, and this year many tier-1 companies visited here. The placement cell also guides students. Overall, it is very good. There are almost 100% placements in CSE and ECE, but there are 70-90% of placements in other branches.
Best university in Karnataka. Excellent as a brand.Teaching quality is excellent. We are taught from basics. Industry experience is also held by more than 1/2 of the faculty.Internships through college are rare but easy to get external ones. Mostly coding jobs are available through this course and it's a good stepping stone for many for further studies at international universities. The fee structure for meritorious students from KCET is 1 L 20K and for the PEESAT entrants it is 3L 20K.
PES University hosts a lot of fests every year. The campus surroundings and the campus are not that great as the campus as a whole is small compared to other colleges. PES University offers a lot of scholarships and holds a lot of extracurricular activities which encourage students to work hard and to reach new heights in terms of their studies. The campus crowd is awesome, and the campus connectivity is pretty much good. Scholarships are incredible.
It is a good college with good placements and good campus life
College infrastructure is good. They are currently constructing another building for providing various facilities. It has all the require infrastructure like library, reading rooms, separate boys and girls hostels etc.
The quality of teaching is provided with the adequate measures followed. College has variety of course provided in the field of engineering, management, Law, hotel management, medical, etc. There is a quality in curriculum.
Placements for engineering, management are really good. But when it comes to law the department is still yet to pass out its first batch. But in engineering and management various popular companies use to pick up students.
There are various clubs which student can join in campus.
The south campus, that I am in, isn’t bad. But it isn’t amazing either. Somewhere in the middle. If you get admission through CET, it’s worth it. For sure. However, paying 4 lakh+ for admission is not, at least for me. The labs have necessary stuff, even though it is a little outdated. The south campus is not an expansive campus by any means, even though it is expanding. However, the basics are all there, the canteens and labs and stuff. Even though they aren’t huge, they are pretty good!
Most of the teachers I’ve encountered so far are pretty lenient and teach well (with a few exceptions). The college also uploads the classroom videos and PPTs to its app so that’s a plus. But accessing them is pretty annoying because they take multiple attempts to open and are not sorted properly. The flexibility in choosing subjects is pretty non existent though. However, for the subjects that are there, the online and offline resources are good enough and so are the teachers.
From what I’ve heard, the placements aren’t bad. The toppers of the batch get good placements and even the 8/7.8+ get good placements. The college helps a lot too. The best placed are of course CS and worst are Mech.
I’m kind of conflicted about it. I got in through CET which only cost me ₹60,000 and for that money, it’s more than worth it. However, if you pay 4 or 5 or even 7 lakh for admission, I don’t think it is. The campus and the labs and the playgrounds and infrastructure just doesn’t cut it. Neither do the teachers. So I’d say anything around and below 4 lakh is fine. But nothing more.
The campus is okayish. We do not get breaks between periods and the schedule followed is exactly the same as school with back to back academic classes with only rare ASD/English classes, which often get taken by academic professors as well. Even the campus doesn’t have much to do. The fests we have are pretty low key, especially the one for the south campus. It’s not bad by any means, just okayish.
It’s a good college. I’d rate 3.5 if I could. Join it if you get in through CET or prefer to live in Bangalore. Don’t get me wrong, it isn’t bad. But it isn’t anything more than the basic college. No shiny bells and whistles. What it does, it does well. And it has a good reputation and does placements well!
Our college has well equipped labs with pretty good infrastruture. It is located in the centre of the prime city called electronic city. There are advanced teaching methodologies like smart TVs,boards .There is wifi facility availbe but of no use. campus is regularly cleaned and well maintained with lush green all around.
I am currently in 1st year btech ,computer science department .The main reason for choosing this course in PES is bcoz of the advantaced teaching methodologies which they have bought in to regular teaching techniques. There are computer based tests for internals with least chance of malpractise. There is a huge encouragement for projects and various technical courses other than academics.
It is told that the placement statistics is 100% for computer science department in which the highest package being 49.5 L per annum and average pay salary being 8 L. since i m currently in 1st year,i haven't experienced the placement process as such.
Its totally worth the money .The fee structure for meritorious students from KCET is 1 L 20K and for the PEESAT entrants it is 3L 20K. Apart from this university gives 40% fee waiver for 20% of the meritorious students along with travel grants.
university has 250+ clubs with wide exposure to sports, literature, theatre, dance ,coding jams ,and techincal courses and many more. There are 2 cultural fests across the campuses and 2 non technical fests as well. There frequent hackothons which are all nighters and are great fun.
Prioritizing academics and technicalities of the course, PES does a great job in shaping us for this outrageous society which demands the right credentials to ace. PES also has its own sattelite which is monitored by NASA, and is highly appreciated as well.
Yes. College has good infrastructure but some under construction still. It has a state of art campus with 24*7 WiFi. Has hostel facility for both boys and girls. Has good gym and sports centre with all the facilities.
I'm studying mechanical engineering and the quality of the teaching is good. the curriculum is well updated and has lot of education related research labs and good assistance. But the exams are tougher.
Placement have gone well with all the branch. I cannot review that in deep as I have not yet gone through it. But the highest placement is of 48 lakh for CS students. Almost many of the students have been placed well.
IT college infrastructure was excellent, very beautiful & peaceful campus.Workshops & Laboratories with good equipment ,Digital class rooms,Digital library,Separate facility for boys & girls,Hostels are well maintained, tasty food,Home atmosphere.
I choose Bachelor of engineering in Mechanical engineering Stream,Because i love machines.Teaching was excellent. All professors in college are well experienced,Explains each every topic in Practical manner for better understanding.Curriculum is updated in my view.
College took care in placements,Every many software companies & hardware companies visits our college for Recruitment. As per records more than 75% of students every year placed in campus selections.Placement process is easy when we have practical knowledge.
2,00,000/- per year.
Hostel was very joyful can't explain words.
University infrastructure is very good,Big auditorium,E-class rooms with audio devices,Well maintained sports grounds,Digital library with Good internet connection.Separate hostels for boys & girls.smart boards.
I choose Bachelor of Business administration, because i have more interest on business field & more future scope for this course.TEACHING was out-standing.Yes,our curriculum is updated,It was changed every 3 years based on developments in business administration field.
In our university Placements was very good,Every year many MNC's came to our university for recruitment.More than 80% of students every year were placed in Campus selections,Because of additional training was given by Placement cell staff
Though fee is more,Placements,Facilities & infrastructure makes it is worthy
Every joyful, more skills will get by crowd
Our college have all facilities..but there will be always construction going on.Although our campus is not vast it has all facilities. And the living space which iam in is clean and hygienic and all facilities are available.
Academics are good. And there are forums to discuss doubts in pes app .Curriculum is also fine .I feel the opportunities provided by pes are more useful to CSE students. IO courses are also very useful.
Regarding placements 95% of CS students will be definitely placed .And they have higher opportunities to get job in Tier 1 companies. Regarding ECE 60% placements for software jobs and5% for hardware.I feel Pes will be best for CS branch.I am not telling other branches are not good but u should struggle hard.If u r gud in coding branch doesn't matter.
I came here through PESSAT .It cost 3lac 20K per year .But it is nearly half if we enter through KCET .As in main campus we can't get seat through comedk the only options for ppl of other state is pessat.I feel the fee is high but if u could manage to get gud grade u will get scholarships .There are many scholarships provided.
Campus life is very good. There are many clubs to take part in .Fests are also conducted which make u feel happy. And as the main campus is located in Banshankari stage 3 it is in the city ,not outskirts u will have all facilities available and transportation facilities are available easily.
Pes university provide u many opportunities ,the thing is u should take part in those and show off ur skills and improve them .Hope this review may help u. :)
Talking about infrastructure in PESU, so much construction work is happening inside the campus ,the new building is going to finish by 2023 which has a big library, gym and the best classes with av projectors.Other than the upcoming building we have a big study are which is way too different from others it looks exactly like a porsche British library. All other equipments in labs and other stuff is literally more. We have Wifi in all block, and our classrooms are pretty big and good with led tv.
I took Electronics and Communication Engineering cause i am very much interested in it, I am currently studying 1st year which is common for all branches, so there are combined classes which means a class have students from all branches this increase the exposure among students. All of my professors are very experienced and most of them have doctrate, we have a very good organized timetable.
I have heard placements are very good and the highest paid job is 52 lakh ,which is very good. There are almost 250 companies. I am a freshman so I don't know much about the procedure of placements ,but the placements are actually good
Coming to the fee, there are 3 categories (1) pessat, (2) kcet, (3) management, (1) pessat is an entrance exam to get into pesu, if you crack it you have to pay 320000 rupees to the whole course(anyone can write this exam) (2) kcet is only for students from karnataka the fee is probably 40-50 thousands (3) Management quota costs more probably 38-45 lakhs ,for this u have to go and meet the admission officer before 6 months. If u want to join hostel an additional of 120000 should seperately paid.
Campus life is good at pesu, but for students from the girls hostel it is difficult as their hostels is not inside the campus. PESU is in banshankari,Banglore which has very good connectivity .There is a police station near by .There are many clubs , students can join them ,there are both technical and non-technical clubs
Nothing
