Decent infrastructure, facilities. Living spaces are decent in more expensive hostels but the more affordable ones are not so well maintained especially washrooms. Food is decent and is same for all hostellers.The colleges has magnificent buildings, it's full of greenery, all sorts of sports except swimming.The classes are spacious and well arranged too.Labs are well maintained and apparatus are constantly updated.

I'm studying ece with instrumentation engineering,and the faculty are approachable and well read with experience.The curriculum is constantly updated year on year based on industry requirements.I trust that the curriculum makes me job ready.

The quality of placements has been really good.In 2019 placements,the highest salary package offered was Rs. 41.6 lacs per annum. 86% of the students got placed in top companies.The average salary offered was about 4.5LPA.The placement process is generally easy and pleasant for most of the students.SRM supports all its students throughout their entire graduation and post-graduation.

My course costs Rs. 3.5 lacs per annum.I feel I'm getting my money's worth.I understand most of the concepts during class hours because the teachers are excellent and very supportive.Academics have never been a burden on me ever since I came to SRM.The teachers are very helpful and they encourage us to always score good marks in exams.Also,the campus is equipped with all sorts of facilities.The classrooms ,libraries and labs are fully air conditioned so that one can study comfortably.

Campus life is very vibrant ,Green campus and well aligned roads.Connected to interior chennai through public transport .Railway station right across the campus and a popular mode of travel.Location is safe and a police station is present right outside the campus.

SRM has wonderful infrastructure with well designed buildings and good facilities.The classroms are modern and spacious with projector screens.Thev laboratories have the latest equipment.The library is large and can accomodate a large number of students.It is central Air conditioned and has a wide range of books.Food is fine and living spaces are average.The facilities are maintained well.

I'm studying ECE with a specialization in instrumentation engineering .Yes,the curriculum is updated yearly so that all the necessary subjects are there in the syllabus keeping in mind the recent developments in the field therefore making us job ready for future.And i find the quality of teaching to be good.

Campus life is amazing at SRM..Everything is available within the campus or nearby Potheri. The college has a place called Java Green within the campus which houses about 20-25 food stalls and is a popular hangout for students during break-times.The campus is safe with security personnel at strategic points.The campus is well connected to the city with train services and MTC buses.The railway station is right across the campus.Shuttle buses for movement from one block to another is present too.

Outstanding infrastructure. Large air-conditioned classrooms and spacious hallways with well equipped equipments.Laboratories have the latest equipments.Well maintained libraries,sports centres and hostels.Hostel food is hygienic.

I'm doing a BTech in electronics and communication engineering.The curriculum is updated regularly on consulting with industry experts.There are good teachers but sometimes they read what they see in the ppt slides otherwise they are very approachable and supportive.Curriculum is updated yearly and industry mentors are consulted for the same.

Placements are very good and the college has a high and good placement record.The average salary offered is around 4.5LPA.The placement process is easy and smoothly conducted.The cdc cell helps prepare students for placements.Many core companies like johnson controls,honeywell etc come for recruitment.

The Course cost in SRM IST is pretty high especially when you don't manage to get a rank under 15,000 as the cost of tuition fees increases drastically after that mark.I am on the fence about whether I am getting my money's worth. Mostly I feel that I am.

The campus life is fairly nice. It has a good food court, a playing ground and more than enough student clubs for any sort of interest a student can have. The teachers are also supportive you even get attendance for events you attend as part of a club. SRM can most definitely handle emergencies as there is a hospital within the campus itself. Aaruush, the tech fest and Milan the cultural fest, the campus is always buzzing.

Worth it!

The 250-acre campus at Kattankulathur, near Chennai, is well landscaped with ample greenery - and is well connected by road and rail. The area comprises state-of-the-art infrastructure and facilities. The campus is equipped with all the latest facilities such as smart board , Wireless-enabled lab and campus Central Library with a wide array of books.The hostels are good and wifi enabled as well.Food is fine.There are facilities for a range of sports too.The labs are well maintained.

Placements at Srm is excellent and always has been.An equal number of core and non core companies visit for recruitment.The average salary is 4-5 LPA.According to my seniors,the placement process is smooth and the career development cell helps in preparation right from 1st year.

My course costs around 3.5LPA based on my entrance exam rank.I feel that i'm getting my money's worth because the college gives us lot of oppurtunities to excel.The worth depends on how the students make us of the oppurtunities.

The college has all the necessary facilities. Department has well-equipped laboratories and infrastructure.Classrooms are spacious and well kept.For the freshers, the classes take place in the University Building for all departments whereas for the others at Tech Park or High-Tech block.Hostels are fine and food will need to be getting used to.

My course costs around 3.5L per year.I feel it is slightly expensive compared to other colleges.It depends on the rank scored in the entrance exam.If it's below 25000 the fees would be 2.5L or lesser,if it's above 25000 the fee would he 3.5L per year.I personally feel it's worth it if we make use of the opportunities given to us.

Placements are very good and SRM has this years record for placements with as many as 8500 jobs.The avg salary offered in the department is around 4.5 LPA.But there are companies which offer high packages too.The placement process is said to be smooth and college helps train students right from 1st year.

I feel that the course fees is on the higher side.My course costs around 3,5L per year.The fee depends on the SRMJEEE rank and can range from 1.5 to 3.5 L per year.Worth depends on how we take the oppurtunities given by the college.

Yes, the college has all the necessary facilities. Department has well-equipped laboratories and infrastructure. Classrooms are well-maintained. Library facilities are also there. There are hostels available for both boys and girls and they are separated. Wi-Fi facilities are available. Overall cleaned and well maintained.

I have joined this college because of the good placement record. The faculties of the department are very helpful and well-educated. The curriculum which was there was updated according to the syllabus that prevailed during that period.

We had a very good placement record. Almost 80% of the students were placed in good and reputed companies. The highest package was around 22LPA and the lowest was around 2.5LPA. And the average usually lies in between 4 to 5LPA.

The infrastructure of the KTR campus is the best among the other SRM campuses. For the freshmen year, the classes take place at the University Building for all departments whereas for the other years at Tech Park or High-Tecg block. The classes in Tech Park has no AC, with some broken chairs and unhygienic toilets. Hostels are decent but very overpriced, the mess food is manageable .

Some teachers are a gem to learn from, but most of the teachers don't have a proper knowledge of the subject. Most students resort to self-study. The curriculum is up to mark and follows the modern norms.

The placements have been good for the past 2 years, with median package of around 3 lakhs pa, but some high profile students have packed a hefty package. The only problem faced here is that KTR campus conducts placements for the students of other SRM campuses in Chennai, Haryana, NCR, so there will be much competition.

SRM is building a reputation of being money minded. Hostels fees are very overpriced and is not worth the money, hence many seniors move out of hostels. They have been asking for semester exams fees which keeps increasing every semester.

The campus life is excellent. You will get loads of oppoertunities for building your portfolio and learning new skills. Milan cultural fest, is one of the best college fests in the country,with many known celebrity gracing with their presence. Although, in the past couple of years, the campus have witnessed some violence from the localities residing near the campus.

Overall, the college is good. You will get all the opportunity to build your career as well as cherish the college life you will have once in a lifetime.

The college has an excellent infrastructure, with proper educational facilities and hospitality facilities. For practical’s the lab equipment’s are latest and well maintained. For me the college has one the best library facilities in the country. Proper cleaning and hygiene is maintained.

Mechanical engineering of SRM university is one of the best in the country, and quality of teaching is very good. Updated curriculum and latest technologies are implemented for us . The educational level is good in my college and with the latest technology they prepare us well for the job that we want to perceive.

Placement is no doubt excellent, over the years SRM holds the highest placement in the country. Every year almost 85% of the students get placed in well organised sectors. The highest salary package till now was 21 lakhs and an average package is between 5-6 lakhs. The placement is organised pretty well and well organised. My college is vey supportive.

The education is worth the money that is being taken from us. I hardly have a complain for the educational facilities and the infrastructure facilities of my college. It is one of the best college in the country.

Campus life is good, with the availability of playgrounds, gym and a well maintained food court. Security is excellent. It is situated in the outskirts of the city so it is far from the disturbance of the city .

Overall I’ll say I’m quite happy and satisfied with my college. I can say the I’m not regretting my decision to choose SRM over any other college.

The college is well equipped with modern equipments especially core branches such as mechanical, civil, eee. The college library is huge with 3 floors of bookz. There are playgrounds both for dental college as well as srmist. There are basketball courts in both the campuses. The labs are well equipped with modern day equipments. The aerospace hanger has jets, jet engines and cockpit. The living space are clean and hygienic.

I am studying B Pharma. I like the quality of teaching. Teachers are qualified and clear our doubts without any problem. The teachers however are mostly south Indians so English is a must. The ciricullam is updated and in par with the standards requires for academic excellence and employment opportunities.

The college is known for its placements. All the branches of college are trained via placement training cells prior to placement opportunities. They are trained in subjects such as aptitude, public speaking , personal interview, CV making etc. The campus is reputedly visited by many major players of the market.

My fee is 2.5 lakh per annum. I think it is a little costly when compared to other govt colleges. But the college does not disappoint when compared to quality of education, training as well as placement opportunities. Thus I believe money is valued in the college.

A gym is available for fitness enthusiast. There are temples, mosques and churches available in the college for spiritual enhancement. The playground is available for leisure activities.
