The campus 1 were the hostels and medical college is situated has magnificent buildings such as university building , techpark ,MBA block, bio engineering lab,all the labs etc. All these buildings except the lab are central AC and the main campus is a little bit dated but it's also good in its own way.

I am student of mechanical engineering all the teachers are excellent at lecturing but talking about the curriculum it is enough to pass engineering but not enough to be a high skilled engineer and the labs are good and have all sorts of expensive machines jet engine ,8 axis cad etc.

The placement is decent acc to being a private college .The average package is between 35,000-40,000 and the dream package is around 90,000-1,00,000 .The highest package in start of 2020 was around 41.5 lac.Mostly average package givers are mass recruiter companies like infosys, cognisant,Accenture etc.

My course fees is 3,50,000 and hostel fees is 1,21,000 for non AC and non Attached bathroom.The tution fees is ok in comparison to all private colleges but the hostel fees is like a stone in a comfortable shoe.

As the campus is full of greenery one can have a nice and pleasant evening walk, as the summer is hot evertime there are lots of shake and juice corners to quench your thirst ,there are two lakes near the campus , on the weekend one can drive to Pondicherry or enjoy the beaches around.

Outstanding infrastructure. Large air-conditioned classrooms and spacious hallways with well equipped equipments.Laboratories have the latest equipments.Well maintained libraries,sports centres and hostels.Hostel food is hygienic.

I'm pursuing btech in computer science and engineering.The quality of teachers is good but you can't rely entirely on teachers.You have to work hard because teachers will not do everything.The curriculum is updated and new developments are being added from time to time.

The placements are good and they make sure a lot of companies come for recruitment.The college has a high placement record.The placement process is smoothly conducted.The average salary offered is around 4.5LPA.The college helps students prepare for placements.

My course costs around 3.5 lakhs per year.I think I'm getting my money's worth because there are many opportunities for the students to excel but it is upto the students to grab those opportunities.

Campus life is good. We have 2 major fests , Aarush and Milan which are simply awesome.There are many clubs in which students can get enrolled based on their interests. The location is safe and well connected to the city.Teachers and support staff are good.

Very good infrastructure.The classrooms are large and seating arrangement is well planned.The laboratories are good and equipment is well taken care of.The classes have a smartboard each and a projector.The hostels are quite good and food is average.

I'm doing a BTech in electronics and communication engineering with a specialization in instrumentation engineering because I've always been fascinated by how instruments work and Electronics.The curriculum is updated regularly on consulting with industry experts.

Placements are top notch!Srm is well known for the high placement rate.The average salary given is about 5LPA.Both core and non core companies visit for recruitment.The placement is said to be smoothly conducted and training is given for the same.

The tuition fee is slightly expensive.It depends on the rank scored in the entrance exam.If it's below 25000 the fees would be 2.5L or lesser,if it's above 25000 the fee would he 3.5L per year.I personally feel it's worth it if we make use of the opportunities given.

Campus life is excellent.The food court called Java is a popular hangout for students.Students can enroll in different clubs like beeclust,scro etc.The location is safe and is well connected to the interior parts of Chennai through rail or public transport.

Our College has a cricket ground , football ground ,many badminton court , table tennis , basketball court, hockey ground , volleyball court and many other things are there. Hospital is all there with all facilities.

Around 40 PhD faculties,the faculties have a immense knowledge but may lag a little in communication,the curriculum is applicable to pass betch ,extra effort are required to bloom in the particular field.

Average salary is around 35000 - 40000 , the highest package in 2020 is around 41.5 lakhs the main reforcement you need for is for skill and knowledge irrespective of subject and regarding the to the field .

Fees may vary around 250000- 350000 which is average for any private collage in india and hostel may charge a fortune ,the hostel rate varies from 100000-230000 while the faculty are average and mess food are same.

Campus Life we are engaged in study from 8:00 am morning to 5:00 pm evening after that we can play any outdoor game . Some teachers really know to teach students and some really need to learn about that .

This is best college is best for students in private colleges . There students gets an opportunity for research and a place for learning and innovation . Here students can best knowledge about there field.

College infrastructure is very well maintained. It has environmental friendly place. It has very big buildings. All the classrooms are air conditioned. The campus has fully wifi facilities. My best place is library.

College need to improve its faculties attitude. They are good teacher but sometimes they read what they see in the ppt slides. The college teach us the important things. And they leave the unnecessary part.

Placement are good enough. According to my seniors everyone get good salary in the company. Last year the highest pakage was 1 cr 35 lacs. And avg salary was around 5-6 lacs . This is why everyone like srm.

Academics Are good..Basically It Depends Upon Student! So If You are Like Of It..You will do better I’m pursuing mechanical Engineering..And See teaching quality is good but on the other hand you also have to work hard as you know it’s college and professors will not do all things

Till Now According to me I Have Seen and Heard Good/Average/Dream! It also depends upon Student..As college is providing good opportunities Basically I have contacted with all seniors about placements who’re in final year so it’s good from their side

3.50 Lakhs Per Year..Yeah If I m doin good..My money is worth it!

Srm is one of the best colleges in Chennai and has one of the largest campuses as well.The classrooms are spacious and well planned.We have smart boards and a router for every class.The laboratories are good and have good equipment.Students can pursue various sports and there are good facilities for the same.The hostels are good and air conditioned hostels are there too.Hostel food is fine,not much of variety.

I am a student in the Mechanical Department and I think that the quality of teaching in the Mechanical department is good if not excellent. Though some advances can be made in the Theoretical and Practical aspect of the courses.

Placements: The placements offered by SRM IST are good. They make sure that a lot of companies come for recruitment. Most of the students are placed in IT companies like Infosys, Cognizant, TCS etc. The average package for mass recruiters remains around 4 Lacs.

The Course cost in SRM IST is pretty high especially when you don't manage to get a rank under 15,000 as the cost of tuition fees increases drastically after that mark. And no sometimes you don't feel getting your money's worth because of the unreasonable attitude or the irrational checking of the faculty.

All activity related to extracurricular programs, forums, clubs, community service, and entrepreneurship cell and students council is managed by the student affairs department. Counsellors are available to guide students and share personal issues. From entertainment to extra-curricular or even religious pursuits, there's never a dull moment on campus. It's a 'mini India' out here at the SRM university campus - with students from all over India and other parts of the world.

My experience in the college till now has been fun and I enjoy a lot

The college is one of the largest in the city and has excellent infrastructure.We have the latest equipment be it labs or sports.The apparatus in labs are constantly updated and calibrated.The classrooms are large enough to fit 50 students and have smart boards and a projector.The classes are WiFi enabled.
