College infrastructure is good and i think its better than most of the colleges because it is well created and designed and overall you will lobe the infrastructure.. So as an srm student i cab say that it has everything like greenery thats the most important thing most of the colleges only have buildings and all they dont make it look more classic and natural so yes its good
I will say academcs is average not that much good or bad as in every college you are only the one how need to study the college facilities are there just to complete the course so its not like school you need to study by yourself
Placements are really impressive if you are CSE or ECE students because i am in EEE and i have seen that there are not that much scoop for other fields.. Its good that if you want to take CSE or ECE can come here ECE
I think if you dont have any choice you should go here otherwise there are many good colleges u can go . SRM is like if you are like haven't passed JEE or you haven't given vit exam if all the options are closed for you you dont a choice rather than to go to SRM like its not bad college i am just saying that in future you will get benefit by other college more than this
Campus life is really good yesss.. if you are talking about campus life it really like in this lockdown i want to go to college i haven't thought that my whole life that i will miss college but yes i still miss the campuss the people's and the surrounding
No...
SRM has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. The classrooms are air conditioned and each classroom is equipped with effective interactive board, electronic podium and projector. The libraries are stocked with a large number of books, magazines, indian and international journals and other online resources. There are various labs like robotics lab, computer programming lab, metallurgy lab etc for students of various fields. The living spaces clean and the food available is hygienic.
I'm studying Btech in the field of IT.I am doing this course because I have keen interest in studying about computers and programming languages.I studied computer science during my high school and then I decided that I'd make my career in this field. The quality of teaching is excellent in my college.Yes,the curriculum is updated yearly so that all the necessary subjects are there in the syllabus keeping in mind the recent developments in the field therefore making us job ready for future.
The quality of placements has been really good.In 2019 placements, the highest salary package offered was Rs. 41.6 lacs per annum.86% of the students got placed in top companies. The average salary offered was 4 lakhs. The placement process is generally easy and pleasant for most of the students.SRM supports all its students throughout their entire graduation and post-graduation.
My course costs Rs. 2.5lacs per annum.I feel I'm getting my money's worth.I understand most of the concepts during class hours because the teachers are excellent and very supportive.Academics have never been a burden on me ever since I came to SRM.The teachers are very helpful and they encourage us to always score good marks in exams. Also, the campus is equipped with all sorts of facilities. The classrooms ,libraries and labs are fully air conditioned so that one can study comfortably.
SRM has well equipped classrooms, labs and libraries. There are many food outlets as well. The campus has various ATM machines. Also, there's a hospital within the campus to handle emergencies. There are various sports facilities as well.Students can play badminton, football, basketball etc in the campus playgrounds. The students, teachers and support staff are very friendly and helpful. The college is located in a safe area in Kancheepuram district,Chennai.SRM hospital handles all kinds of emergencies.
Excellent infrastructure,SRM has almost all facilities and top quality equipment. The campus is clean and well maintained.Laboratories have the newest equipments. The library is one of the largest among colleges and has a wide range of books. The living spaces are good enough and food is not a problem.
I'm studying ece with instrumentation engineering, and the faculty are approachable and well read with experience. The curriculum is constantly updated year on year based on industry requirements.I trust that the curriculum makes me job ready.
The best advantage of the college.Placements are smoothly conducted and almost everyone are placed in good or average companies.Top companies in various domains come for recruitment.Avg salary is 4-5LPA.The college provides placement assistance for easier tackling of placements.there is an equal mix of core and non-core companies
The course costs around 4.5L per year including hostel and mess fees, which is evidently very high.I have a 50-50 feeling on getting my money's worth.
Campus life is very vibrant ,Green campus and well aligned roads.Connected to interior chennai through public transport .Railway station right across the campus and a popular mode of travel.Location is safe and a police station is present right outside the campus.
Would recommend joining SRM
Coming to infrastructure it is the best and it has all facilities and equipment for learning new courses.sport centres like basketball court and cricket ground adds beauty to the college.living space is clean and hygienic
I got best teaching faculty and l highlight the library facility.the lab facilities and access to learn new courses are very much better than I expected.the curriculum is up to the date and I have the freedom to explore new things
It has more than 80 percent of campus placement for the students who have passed. The salary offered depends on the grade score of student but you can always expect a good job here.the highest salary always go to computer science
I highly recommend my college for academics and it's infrastructure.i have experienced the best campus life here.fee is a bit more compared to other colleges but it's worthful.i joined here cause it has a good percentage in students who have placed in campus placements.
SRM has the one of the best infrastructures among the city's colleges with top quality facilities. We have modern labs with good quality equipment. The classrooms are digitised, spacious, vibrant and airy, providing a good environment to learn. The central library housed at the UB building is one of the best and largest libraries in the country with a wide array of books in various subjects.Hostels are good enough and the mess food is fine.
I'm a student of ECE(specialization in instrumentation engineering). The department has top class faculty and most of them are Phd holders with lots of experience in the field. The curriculum is updated regularly based on industry trends hence making the students job-ready.
The college has an excellent record when it comes to placements and maintain a high placement rate. Many top companies visit the college. The department has a good placement record of 80% in both core and non-core companies. The avg salary offered is 3.5lpa to 4lpa.The highest salary offered was 42lpa by Microsoft to a student from the CSE department. The placement process is said to be smooth and the college give regular personality development training to ace interviews.
Personally feel that the fee is on the higher side. The course costs from 2-3.5L based on course availability and the SRMJEEE rank.I would say that it is value-for-money to an extent, based on how well you use the oppurtunities given by the college.
Campus life is amazing at SRM..Everything is available within the campus or nearby Potheri. The college has a place called Java Green within the campus which houses about 20-25 food stalls and is a popular hangout for students during break-times.The campus is safe with security personnel at strategic points. The campus is well connected to the city with train services and MTC buses. The railway station is right across the campus.Shuttle buses for movement from one block to another is present too.
SRM provides great oppurtunities for the willing and has the potential to lead the students to success.
Yes the infrastructure is good better than many other colleges of its league Hostels are decent Food is something that is subjective As we know no hostel food is like your home but then we need to adapt to it
Im studying btech mechanical in srm the faculty is quite strict and thats why we study well here Yes the curriculum is updated as per the norms Yes the labs and the equipments here are up to date and they help us a lot
The placement over here are also very much systematic and depend on how u score through out your semesters and it also depends on your skills that you have developed through out the collage life in short placements over here are merit based
My course costed me 3.5 lakhs
The canpus life over here is good we get a lot of greenery here and the location is also very nicee
If you want to study here then you should come here
Decent infrastructure, facilities. Living spaces are decent in more expensive hostels but the more affordable ones are not so well maintained especially washrooms. Food is decent and is same for all hostellers.
Decent. Quality of teaching so far is like any other engineering college. Some teachers are really friendly and welcoming but there are even more number of teachers & staff who are rude. Curriculum seems undated to me.
Decent. They claim to have 100 percentage of placement, that is not entirely true as they disqualify a majority of not so good students from sitting in placements . Most of the students get jobs with very low packages like tcs and other mass recruiters. But some ppl also get placed in good companies like Amazon, infosys, BASICALLY ITS ON THE STUDENT, IF U KNOW YOUR SUBJECT WELL THEN MOST OF THE GOOD COMPANIES CONDUCT RECRUITMENT HERE AND YOU CAN GET SELECTED BASED ON YOUR KNOWLEDGE & MERIT.
No. According to me the college charges way more than it should . They claim to be so well equipped but we know the reality. Infrastructure is good but it is definitely not worth the fees they charge.
Below average. Campus life in SRM is like life in a very very crowded place. There are so many students in iur campus and relatively so less space. Events and fests are regularly conducted and they are really nice.
SRM is a decent college. But they are very greedy.
Our college has almost all the facilities and equipment and very good infrastructure. These failities are used and well maintained in our classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sports centres etc. The living space is also clean and well maintained
I have studied B.Tech Electrical and Electronics engineering because i involve more concepts with electrical by my own so i choose that course. The teaching quality is so high and i trust my study made my job ready.
We have average quality of placements at our college many students were placed by on-campus and off-campus with the highest salary package of 9 LPA as much of my knowledge. The placement process is easy if we get the minimum knowledge to crack it.
The infrastructure is pretty good. good classrooms and buildings. also the corridors. Wi-Fi is available everywhere. there are blackboards in all the rooms. projectors are present in most classrooms. no smart boards
Depends on the faculty. Most Phd faculties are really good and helpful while other faculties don't reach upto the standard of teaching as the others. The curriculum is updated regularly and it makes us job ready
placements are good. good salary is being offered by numerous companies that visit the college evvry year. average salary of 5-6 lakhs is offered while the highest salary package given can be as much as around 60 lakhs
2 lakhs. it's worth it to some extent
really fun campus life
good
Yeah, good infrastructure. Awesome place nice area to study and focus. Loved it. The area is so clean and cleaniliness. Nature scenarios. Good canteen and tasty food. Library is quite big and very good area.
Aerospace engineering. Teachers are so good. Our syllables are updated periodically to keep us updated. Subjects are complex and also very applicable. Staff make it so easy to understand. And they are very much job oriented.
Yes, We have core companies like ISRO and other major companies. Average is 4 LPA. And Trainings will be provided. And college bery much support us to carry out for our career. Very good supports . Helps you alot.
Yes, it is worth we gets hands on experience with aircraft and we get to work on much like real world. We learn to design aircraft and I very much love it. It is totally worth it. And i recommend to everyone.
College campus is good.
Very awesome.
Hello,
If I were choosing between these colleges, I would generally prefer MIT Manipal, LNMIIT, SRM KTR, and JIIT before SOA.
That doesn't mean SOA is a bad college. In fact, it's a decent option with good infrastructure and placements, especially for CSE-related branches. But when compared to MIT, LNMIIT,
Hi,
With 75–80 marks in AP EAMCET and 582/600 in IPE (around 97%) , you have a strong board score, which will help in the rank calculation.
Based on recent trends, you can roughly expect a rank somewhere in the range of 8,000–15,000 , though normalization and your specific shift
