About SRM University Chennai
SRM Institute of Science and Technology Chennai (SRMIST Chennai) is a private university which was established in the year 1985 and was formerly known as SRM University Chennai. SRM University is approved by University Grants Commission (UGC) and Indian council of Agricultural Research (ICAR). The university is accredited by NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) with an A++ Grade and NBA (National Board of Accreditation).
SRM University offers admissions to courses in diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. Some of the major courses offered was BCA, MTech, MBA, M.Com, M.Arch, BA, BTech, LLB and many others. SRM University admission is merit and entrance based. Students need to score valid marks in the respective entrance exam, depending on the course chose. For BTech course students need to score valid marks in JEE Mains/ SRMJEEE (UG) exam.

My classes were in main campus, they have 2 campus in ktr, the campus was so big that we had to take busses to go from one point to another. Very very green campus with multiple playgrounds for basketball and football.
