Process of online reporting in vnit is as follows

The students have to complete or fill the required information via the online reporting portal given in the website.

Online verification of documents and information uploaded by students.

Discrepancy any will be informed to students via email.

Generation of Provisional Admission Letter and then it will be send to the students via email.

All the detailed process, link for the online reporting portal, link for fee payment etc are given in the official website. The students are requested to check the official website for updates.

Commencement of online classes will be on December 1.

It solely depends on the concerned institute's department . Once the admission procedure will be fully commenced, the concerned authorities will start the online classes. For these details, you can stay in touch with the department of the course under which you have taken place, they will tell you all the schedules and procedure.

It is a very good college and also offers a decent placement percentages to students of chemical Engineering Batch.It offers almost 75-80% of placements every year and companies like Goldman,Sachhs,Reliance recruit a large number of students from the batch.Lupin also take a handful number of students and they mainly offer the post for Executive engineer.

You will have no problem with your placements in this colleges provided you have a good academic history in the college.

VNIT Nagpur ranks among the Top 10 NITs of our Country with good infrastructure, faculty and  placements. In spite of having Home Advantage or not, you need to secure a Rank of atleast 25-30k in JEE Mains to secure your seat in NIT Nagpur. At your rank, even if you have certaib categorical advantages, you might not make it to VNIT Nagpur be it in JOSAA or CSAB Rounds.

BTech fee is about 5.5 lakh.

The placement of the College is good .

Highest package offered was 12 lakh .

Top recruiting companies are Exon, Deloitte etc.

The College also offers internships for chemical engineering students in  Asian paints , reliance etc.

According to the category rank you have mentioned in the question you cannot get either of the NITs you have mentioned with neither CSE or ECE as per previous year's cut-offs even in Round 2 counselling of CSAB but yes I would suggest you to sit for some state counselling because in some of the state government colleges you can get admission on such ranks.

Note that the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors.

According to the info available at the official website the fee structure for NIT nagpur including tuition fees and other expenses it is around 133000 and hostel fees for the college is around 75000 per annum. As your annual ioncome is less you can apply for scholarship provided by maharashtra government if you belong to state or to other state scholarships to the state in which you belon or you can also apply on national basis.

Dear aspirant,

IIIT Kalyani is comparatively a new college and having no position in NIRF ranking as well. Whereas Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology is older comparatively and has ranked 27 in NIRF ranking which is undoubtedly in a good position. In term of placement VNIT is far better,  as only one or two batches have passed from IIIT Kalyani it's hard to say about placement. If you can get admission in VNIT, it's undoubtedly a better choice than IIIT, Kalyani as of now.
