Hey aspirant.
Hope you are doing well. You must submit your provisional admission letter at the time of reporting. You will have to submit the same letter through which you have got admission in the institute. So if you have got VNIT through CSAB Round then you must give that provisional letter only.
Hope this helps.

Hello candidate,
I would like to verify you that csab counselling always considers the all india rank and not the specific category rank. So the rank by which you will get any college in csab round is by your all india rank that is 17101.
Hello, you should choose the course in which you are interested. Based on your preferences you can apply for the admissions. You can compare the placements, hostel availability, fees structure, faculty and academic syllabus of both the institutes and thus apply for the institute. All the best.
Hello student
hope you are doing well and safe. With reference to your query, I would glad inform you that NIT nagpur will be the better option to peruse btech in civil enginerring. It holds very good nirf ranking and has nit tag whichs helps to provide very good alumni network . Moreover , I always say to look for college over branch as in the end students of all branches get equal opportunities for placements . Faculities are also very well qualified . The average package goes around 11 lakhs and highest went around 34 lakhs
Hope you found this answer informative. Best wishes for your future
Dear aspirant,
If you were to take my opinion then I would recommend you to take nit nagpur metallurgy because of certain reasons:-
1- First of all nit nagpur metallurgy branch has strong placements . It has an average package of 6.5 L and companies like vedanta, Tata group, jindal steel and more visit for recruitment.
2- In terms of faculty , metallurgy department is not so bad and also not so good but they are supportive.
3-The Infrastructure is very good and it has a library where you can explore anything.

Greetings,
I hope you are doing well.
According to my knowledge, NIT Nagpur is better than NIT Calicut for any courses. Hence, as per me I would like to suggest NIT Nagpur.
Stay safe, stay happy.
Thank you
See Civil Engineering have very less placement rate in NIT Nagpur. Apart from this those who get a placement got into IT sectors. So if you are ok with that then go for NIT NAGPUR. But if you are interested to learn something and do a job on that subject only then IIIT KOTTAYAM will be a better choice for you. Also CSE have a much better career compared to that of CIVIL ENGINEERING in terms of employability. Although Civil Engineering is a very important field of engineering but its a sad reality.
Distinctively there are no comparisons in terms of infrastructure and academics as both of the institutes have amazing infrastructure. They both have good faculty strength but the problem lies in the scenario of placement.

See both the institutes you have mentioned are great in terms of infrastructure and academics. Now on the basis of placements conditions, I would recommend you to go for the Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering course over Metallurgy, because the placement rates are better for the course of ETE in IIIT Nagpur compared to that of NIT NAGPUR. Also the packages are better than that of that NIT Nagpur. So from a employability point of view it would be always better for you to go for the IIIT Nagpur.
