M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2028-01-01
Academics
I am doing b-tech in computer science in this college because I enjoy learning and working with computer technologies. Some of the proffesors are really good and ready to help the students in this college. They have really good knowledge and ideas in and are willing to help the students learn more or to do better projects. The curriculum is updated but has many missing pieces interms of recent development field. Many unnecessary courses have been added too which acts as a burden on the student although it wont help students benefit in the job market or for future. The stuff I am studying in college is not exactly what is needed to make you job ready but it acts as a bridge or connection to the real concepts or studies that have to be covered.
College Infra
The college has almost all the necessary infrastructure for all the branches however the campus isn't really appealing and it is really small for a college. The equipment for cs related branches are really good such as the labs are well conditioned but other branches do not have good equipment or facilities like mechanical and electrical branch. The classrooms are really disappointing with really bad seating facilities and desks but most of the classrooms are ventilated well with smartboards and projectors in them. The library is really small and doesn't have all the books we need.
The college has 2 really big fields which act as the sport centers. All sports equipment are available in the college and the sports clubs are really active too. Hostels are well maintained but not very hygienic. Washrooms are really bad especially in the hostel. Food provided is probably the worst factor in this college. The canteen food isn't a good substitute for hosteller students because it has less variety and cooking conditions don't really look hygienic. However the food is the college has been slightly improving
Campus Life
The campus life in this college is very mediocre. The campus is very small so there aren't many places the students can roam of visit. The library is small yet its the ideal spot for people to hangout. Limited recreational space and average campus vibrancy.
Its best feature is the sports field because it is huge and has all the required equipment. The faculty is a mix of experienced and approachable proffesor though some teaching departements could benefit from more interactive teaching methods. Student community is very diverse and collaborative. The location of the college is in the city of banglore. It is a really safe college and can handle emergencies well.
Placements
The quality of placement in this college is moderate. If you are doing really well in your projects and studies, then placements in this college will not be an issue. Many top companies such as Microsoft and Google come however only a handful of students will be able to get these placements. Rest of the companies are moderate and do not offer much salary. Many students fail to even make it in these moderate companies.
Last year around 72% students were placed. The highest package was offered to a person from Cs and AI branch. Around 55 lakh salary was offered to him
The average salary however isn't really high. This college's average salary is around 8-9 lakhs. I have not taken part for placement process yet however the college is supportive during placements.
Value For Money
My course cost 4 lakhs per year because I was in slab 2 after using my JEE percentile score. However this college has many good features. If you score more than 9 CGPA, you can receive a discount for your course fee. The management seat is for 5-6 lakhs and slab 1 is 2 lakhs.
Since the courses are good and in an academic way it is really good, I think the money is worth for this college especially with the discount benefits.

Academics
I'm currently pursuing B.Tech(artificial intelligence and data science). We are provided with top notch faculty who teach very well. The curriculum is so far updated compared to other universities and colleges.
College Infra
Yes, our college is highly equipped with all the required facilities and has a good, suitable and comfortable infrastructure. We are provided with spacious classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sports, clubs and other facilities. The place is very hygienic but the food section needs extra care.
Campus Life
Our campus is a bit small when compared with other campuses. But, it is maintained very clean and green manner. Students are provided with outdoor and indoor activities as well as other clubs like yoga,dance, music, etc. The students, staff and teachers provide a friendly environment and is safe from calamities.
Placements
The quality of placements at our college is something appreciable. We get trained to be placed in top MNC's. Approximately, 80% of students get placed during the placement drives according to the sources. The average package offered is approx 9lpa.
Value For Money
The course costs around four lakh fifty two thousand per annum. And the scholarship purely depends upon the Student's academic performance. Yes, I feel the money is worth for all the facilities provided.

Our college teaches subjects that are not found in most if the colleges. My college also teaches about our Indian heritage which is very important for the current generation to know about. The teachers are very friendly and supportive
College Infra
Our college is very vast and we are surrounded with a lots of greenery and the classes are very clean and huge to fit many students and teachers . The washroom are clean and the environment is very friendly.
Campus Life
My personal experience is very interesting as we have several fests and it includes many students and encourages participants for volunteering
Placements
I have heard that many excellent company's come here for interviews and select those who are perfect. The choose the candidates that are worthy and for the rest they are very supportive and help students to find out at which point they need to improve.
Value For Money
Everything is very much equal..for the money we pay we get suffecient education and living environment and a very green and calm environment

Dear Aspirant,
It is not possible to predict the exact situation as it is depends on the number of students attempting the exam, the seat Matrix of the college and the preferences of the students.
Amrita does not release official cutoffs and hence the predictions are based on what the students have informed.
CSE is one of the most preferred branch and hence it is quite hard to get into it.
If you don't belong to the state category it is quite difficult to get into Coimbatore for CSE. You have a good chance of getting into Coimbatore campus if you belong to TN.
You have a decent chance of getting into Amritapuri and Bangalore campus with this rank as the closing ranks are around 6 K for those institutes.

Based on previous few years trend the closing ranks of amrita school of engineering, bangalore the CSE closing rank for open category is 6767 and the closing rank for state quota is 10354. So i believe you have a chance.

i have secured 11299 rank in AEEE 2020.can I get ECE in Bangalore campus

Congratulations for getting good rank in AEEE. According to your rank directly predicting that you may get the ECE in Bangalore campus or not is not possible. But with the help f last years cut offs we can get an idea about the seat can allot or not.
So for your rank that is 11299 it will may be possible to get ECE in Bangalore campus according to last some year cut offs but as on every year the number of candidates that gives ,no. of candidates who will take admission changes year to year so the cut offs may vary every year.
You also go with the cut offs of last year neetly whose link I am giving below through which you can get an idea about the cut offs very clearly. If you want only that college then in that cut offs other branch cut offs also given so you can think about that also through the link given below.
