AIT will release AIT provisional merit list on the official website. The final AIT Merit List will then be made after weightage has been given to the affected candidates. If after award of ‘Weightage Marks’, two or more candidates secure the same marks, the inter-se merit of these candidates will be based on their earlier JEE Main Rank.

Only one specialization is offered in M.E.- Mechanical Engineering Design at the Army Institute of Technology, Pune. It is a full-time 2-year course that offers only 18 seats for admission. Eligibility is 50% in B.E./B.Tech in a relevant field, from a recognized university. Selections for admissions depend upon GATE scores.M.E. aspirants are required to fill in application forms for GATE and for the Army Institute of Technology. You can fill the form by visiting the official website of college and then pay the required fees.Hopefully, the application forms will start from June according to past year analysis. But date hasn,t been out yet. Keep visiting the official site for regular updates.

In Army Institute of Technology, Pune only the wards of army personnel or retired army personnel are given admission in various engineering courses.The admission is based on JEE main score.Candidates who are not the wards not the wards of army personnel or retired army personnel are considered to give admission only after the all the candidates of Army personnel are given admission.So as you are a ward of army personnel you have to qualify in JEE main without that you cannot get admission.

The cutoff depends on various factors and it keeps changing. But going by previous year's trends, to get CSE or IT branch in Army Institute of Technology, Pune you need a rank within 55,000. In 2018, the last student to get admitted in CSE had the score of 102 and rank 55,123. For IT, the last rank was 65,295 and corresponding score was 95. For mechanical branch, Rank was around 1.11 lakhs. And the last admitted student in Electronics branch was 87,857 with a score of 83.

In 2019, the closing rank for mechanical engineering in AIT was 113592. And in 2018 it was 111326. And in 2017 it was lower. So accordingly getting a rank around 114000 would probably get you the college.

cutoff scores changes every year and depends on some factors like number of participants, students category etc. see sp jain looks into  candidates academic profile, work experiences, extra curricular activities etc. you have decent work experience and academic record, according to students review they shortlisted candidates whose has overall 85% in academic, and more than 70 percentage marks in all board exams and graduation. so you have decent chances for shortlisting.

The infrastructure of this college is very good, and they teach on projects. Their Wi-Fi is also good, with an average speed above 70 MB/s. They have a very disciplined library, as you can study from 8 to 10 PM to build your future. Mess food has many varieties and is very hygienic. In sports, it is very good, and some of the students also reached the national level.
