Dear applicant, AIT Pune is a very renowned institution, the Information Technology stream is really good. Almost 90% of the students get placements every year with starting Package 4-6 LPA, academic environment is wise and so as the faculties.

In YMCA the campus life may be much better but the placements are better in AIT Pune. The infrastructure is better in YMCA but the labs are better in AIT Pune.

I hope you are doing good,

At the Pune technical center only Army service / retired wards are eligible to apply for AIT admission. Children from other categories, i.e. those who are not military wards, can be considered for admission only after looking at wards for military personnel. Usually there are more than 4000 applications received annually from War wards. So when we compare the number of seats available with the application for seats it becomes very difficult to have a chance to get a seat for non-public students.

Hope you are doing great there . First of all congratulations for such a wonderful rank in jee mains . You want to know about so many colleges at a time . Your rank is a bit low for admission in NIT or IIIT , therefore you might not be able to secure a seat in JOSSA . But yes you can definitely try for a seat in CSAB . And yes you can definitely try for JAC Chandigarh . There you will get a seat for sure.

Since the counselling is on its way and it will proceed till 25 June 2019. You need to have patience since firstly the seats will be filled by candidates upto merit list rank 300 . And after that the vacancy will be released for the merit rank more than 301 , so we cannot predict how much vacancy will be there. For that you need to be physically present there.

All of the institutions which you have mentioned were almost equal and good colleges regarding the field of education.

You can choose any of them for your further studies.

But for your convenient I had described their placement record in CSE Branch of the respective institutions;

UIET CHANDIGARH

More than 85% of students got placed in CSE branch per year. The highest package was 30 LPA. Samsung, Amazon, Deloitte, KPMG, Infosys, Capgemini and many companies are recruiting students from our college. Average package is about 7 LPA.

AIT PUNE

More than 90% of the students get placements from this course. The highest salary package offered was 39 LPA. Amazon, Microsoft and many other companies are top recruiters here. However, the college offers an average salary package of nearly 8 LPA.

IIIT BHAGALPUR

About 75% of the students get placements every year. The highest salary package offered is 17 LPA, and the average salary package offered is 8.5 LPA. Amazon, Nykaa, NIC, Wipro and 25 other companies came for recruitment.

According to Placement details on their website, Placement for Computer Engineering, highest package offered was 39 LPA by Microsoft followed by 28 LPA by Amazon and total of 87 companies visited the institute for placements. According to peer reviews, the major companies that visits campus are Barclays, Blue Rick's, OFSS, etc. The placement percentage is 90%. Alumni network is very strong as the college was built 25years ago. Famous startups by our college alumni are Udchalo, etc.
