BE Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2029-01-01
Academics
The proof is in the rankings. In 2025, BIT students secured 29 university ranks under VTU — a number that speaks loudly about academic seriousness. BIT has been rated AAAA in Engineering by Careers360 and ranked 4th in Bangalore by The Week, placing it firmly among the city's top-tier engineering colleges.
College Infra
BIT's campus sits in a dense urban pocket, so don't expect vast green lawns or palatial buildings. What you do get is a reasonably well-maintained setup. The institute supports students through a library, auditorium, seminar and conference halls, guest houses, internet and Wi-Fi, hostels, and a canteen.
Placements
The highest package during the 2025 placement season touched ₹58 LPA, with an average package of ₹10 LPA. Top recruiters include Boeing, Dell, Amazon, NVIDIA, IBM, Oracle, PhonePe, Cognizant, Accenture, and CGI — a roster that would make any engineering student's pulse quicken.
