      CIPET Chennai Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

      CIPET Chennai Admission Process

      The Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology Chennai offers admission to diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. CIPET Chennai admissions are done based on the entrance examination and merit score. Admissions to CIPET Chennai are done based on merit score in the past academic year for B.Tech programmes, TANCET entrance exam, followed by TANCA counselling for MTech programmes and CIPET JEE entrance exam for diploma and PGD programmes. 

      For CIPET Chennai admissions to BTech, candidates have to register for the counselling process conducted by the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA), conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu. The CIPET Chennai admission process includes filling out the application form, submitting documents, and paying course fees.

      CIPET Chennai Diploma Admission Procedure 2025

      • Candidates must meet the CIPET Chennai eligibility criteria. 

      • First, candidates must complete an online diploma application form on the CIPET Chennai official website.

      • Following that, students must sit for the CIPET JEE entrance exam.

      • Then candidates must score cutoff marks set by the institution.

      • For the selected candidates, the authorities will issue a counselling cum admission letter.

      • For CIPET Chennai admission, shortlisted candidates have to participate in the counselling process.

      • Selected candidates must submit the original documents in a prescribed format.

      •  Lastly, document verification and CIPET Chennai fee payment are to be done.

      CIPET Chennai Admissions 2025 for BE/BTech Course

      Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology Chennai  offers 2 undergraduate courses.       CIPET Chennai BE/BTech Admission Process 2025

      • Candidates must meet the CIPET Chennai eligibility criteria.

      • Then, candidates must first apply for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) application, administered by Tamil Nadu Department of Technical Education.

      • The CIPET Chennai TNEA cutoff is then released by the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Technical Education.

      • The CIPET Chennai cutoff is determined by the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the 12th grade.

      • The TNEA counselling procedure is open to candidates who meet the CIPET Chennai TNEA cutoff.

      • Candidates are required to attend TNEA counselling for CIPET Chennai admission based on their standing in the ranking list.

      • After a seat has been assigned, candidates must verify the documents and pay the CIPET Chennai BE/B.Tech fees.

      • Candidates must meet the CIPET Chennai eligibility criteria. 

      • First, candidates must complete an online application form on the CIPET Chennai official website.

      • Following that, students must sit for the CIPET JEE entrance exam.

      • For the selected candidates, the authorities will issue a counselling cum admission letter.

      • For CIPET Chennai admission, shortlisted candidates have to participate in the counselling process.

      • The results of an entrance examination, participation in the counselling process, and seat assignment will determine the final CIPET Chennai PGD admission.

      •  Lastly, document verification and CIPET Chennai fee payment are to be done. 

      CIPET Chennai ME/MTech Admission Process 2025

      • Candidates must visit the CIPET Chennai website.

      • Candidates with GATE scores are also eligible to apply for CIPET Chennai admission. 

      • Next, candidates must take the TANCET admission exam, which is administered by Anna University.

      • Counselling is done based on the results of the entrance exam.

      • Candidates who meet the CIPET Chennai cutoff for TANCET must attend the TANCA counselling.

      • The merit list created following the counselling session is used to make the final decision.

      • Admissions are offered following document verification and payment of CIPET Chennai ME/M.Tech fees.
