The male students living in the boys' hostel have been provided with up-to-date accommodation facilities on the university campus. It becomes home and safe space where students can focus on their studies without fear and distraction. The hostels are provided with Diploma students and Postgraduate students forming two separate wings, with a range of room options, from shared rooms to rooms with attached washrooms.

Women's living quarters are very clean and equipped with all the necessary modern amenities. The residence is planned to provide a secure and healthy women's community that is supported by the 24-hour power backup and the presence of the dedicated warden.

The CITD library is a knowledge centre located at the Institute. It is provisioned with more than 9,400 technical books and is subscribed to a large number of national and international journals. There is a computerised "Net Lib" collection through which students can get to the digital resources that are essential for tool engineering research.

CITD has air-conditioned computer laboratories with the latest high-performance computing facilities. The infrastructure gets regular upgrades with industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, CATIA, and ANSYS to facilitate complex design and manufacturing projects.

The College has is a separate area for parking vehicles at the Central Institute of Tool Design, Hyderabad. Students can use the area to park their vehicles.
