CBIT is a NAAC A private college in India affiliated by Osmania University, Hyderabad . The college offers numerous courses in UG engineering such as :

BE Computer Science and Engineering

& many more courses. The admission to the college is provided through JEE Main & TS EAMCET . So if you don't applied for TS EAMCET then you can also apply on the basis of JEE MAINS as well. Now if you didn't given JEE MAINS then admission may not be possible. For that you have to contact the college authority if they have any special provision such as admission through 10+2 marks etc.

But focusing on the domains CSE is ideal as fetching a job is not easy in Metallurgical field and the number of jobs are less and you have to attempt GATE if you want a jo in Govt. sector. It becomes hectic for you to manage two different domains parallelyif you opt Metallurgy. But if it is CSE it becomes easy for you to get along with coding. But atlast choosing a college is subjective as opting a good college is important but CBIT is also among the top colleges in Hyderabad. Make sure you opt a domain based upon your intersts.

Firstly I would like to inform you that CBIT  does not accept JEE Mains score to give admission to students.  Admission in CBIT is possible their EAMCET which is conducted by JNUTH. I would suggest you that you should try and apply in those colleges that accept JEE Mains score.  Otherwise attempt the test I told you about that is EAMCET . There also you have you score quiet well in order to get admission in CBIT. All the best!

Hope you are doing great. Rank predictor shows that your probable rank is somewhat around 175204- 246089. In that rank, you can not get admission in CBIT. And you have to appear in EAMCET for getting chance in Vasavi, MGIT, Gokaraju rangaraju, VNR and Gurunanak college. Hope you are appearing in that.
