There is no major difference in between CSE and IT. Both have same priorities and all. While IT mostly concentrates on both hardware and software and CSE mostly concentrates on software. I recommend you to take IT at CBIT. Because CBIT is the no.1 private engineering college

Sorry to say that getting a seat in cbit is difficult.

The competition is cutthroat nowadays.

The cutoff for b category seat is 25 thousand in JEE for cse ece 

For other  branches it is 35 thousand 

So i would suggest you to try other colleges like cmr engineering ,
