College of Engineering, Muttathara (CEM), located in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, is a self-financed engineering college affiliated with AICTE. Admissions to CEM are based on merit and conducted through the Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical Examination (KEAM), organized by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala.

The exam is conducted online and evaluates students in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. In addition to KEAM, B.Arch scores are also considered for certain programs.

Eligibility for admission generally includes completion of 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Specific percentage requirements may vary as per KEAM norms.

Application Process

1. KEAM Application:

   • Register and create an account on the official KEAM portal

2. Entrance Examination:

   • Download the KEAM admit card once available

   • Participate in the centralized counselling process by CEE, Kerala

   • Select CEM and preferred B.Tech branches

   • Seats are allotted based on KEAM rank and availability

Admissions for all B.Tech programs are based on KEAM rank and follow the centralized allotment process. Each program has an approved intake of 60 seats.
