For students not from Karnataka, getting into Karnataka state engineering colleges is administered through the COMEDK entrance exam.

All Indian learners can give this exam every year.

RVCE, BMSE and MSRIT are the topmost colleges and every student wants to get admission to these colleges.

45% of seats are admitted through KCET

30% of seats are admitted established on COMEDK

25% of seats are reserved for Management seats.

You need to score 110 or more marks in COMEDK and getting around 1k rank will be good.

Unfortunately no, through CET , you can't get admission in direct 2nd year through any process . In this scenario , you have only two options left:

• You need to appear for CET exam again , and based on the cut off and your gained marks , you will get admission in colleges for 1st year
• If you've done diploma in Engg. earlier , then you need to appear for lateral entry exam to get admission in 2nd year directly based on the seat availability in your preferred colleges

As per the information available in KCET 2022 Information Brochure the marks scored in qualifying examination that is 10+2 or its equivalent and CET score in Biology, Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry will be considered in equal proportions to determine the rank for admission to Farm Science courses such as B.Sc.
