Hello,

With the score of 512 in NEET 2021, the corresponding expected NEET rank would be 83522 - 91757 . You can check it from https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_rp

For the resident of Mumbai and open category, your chances of getting a government medical college for MBBS seems to be quite low. The cutoff marks according to previous years reports varies from 570-640. So your chances of getting a government seat seems to be quite low . Moreover you may try to opt for private medical colleges which seems to be possible quite enough. The government colleges that you may opt for may include-

Topiwala National Medical College, Mumbai

Shri Vasant Rao Naik Govt. Medical College, Yavatmal

Grant Medical College, Mumbai

Seth GS Medical College, Mumbai

other private colleges may include

Terna Medical College, Navi Mumbai.

Dr DY Patil Medical College, Navi Mumbai Medical College, Navi Mumbai

KJ Somaiya Medical College and Research Centre, Mumbai

K G Mittal Ayurvedic College, Mumbai

hello aspirant,

Since you have not mentioned your category and other relevant details, it is little difficult to predict precisely whether you will get any government colleges or not.

However, looking at the previous year cutoff trends, you have some chance to get a seat in PES University, SIT, BNM colleges and some other decent to low colleges.

I hope that it will help.

Hi

Whether, there's penalty or not depends on in which round seat was alloted and you didn't join it.

While filling the all India counselling form you have to pay the security money

  • if you are allotted a seat in the first round of counseling and you don't join the college then there will be no penalty and you will still get the your security money back
  • but if you you are allotted a seat in the second round of counselling and you don't join the college then yes there is penalty which is that you won't get your security money back .

Here's a brief of  NEET mcc /all india counselling:-

-----------) First of all you need to register yourself  by visiting the official website of mcc i. e  mcc . nic . in and then paying the counselling fee

-----------) Choice filling :- You need to choose the colleges you want to get admission in and then lock your choices

-----------)  Round 1 seat allotment result publication

-----------) if you get a seat then you can report to the alloted college or can go for free exit option if you don't want to get admission in the alloted college

-----------)  Vacant Seats publication for round 2.

-----------)  Fresh filling of choice for round 2

-----------)  If you get a seat then you need to report to the alloted college or you can choose not to report if you don't want to get admission in the alloted college but in this case you won't get your security money back .

-----------) After round 2, there's mop up round for the leftover seats.

Hi,

It is very difficult to predict the state rank for any sate as it totally depends on the number of candidates, the overall marks ,ranks and many different other factors . So your state rank can not be predicted through the overall all India rank in NEET 2021 which is 277000. Moreover your marks can be predicted through the link https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-rank-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_rp.And the college can be predicted through NEET College Predictor https://medicine.careers360.com/neet-college-predictor?utm_source=qna&utm_medium=neet_cp . Hoping for the best.

Hi, the competition is always going to be there. What you should focus on is their entrance exam who are not M.Phil. or UGC NET. If you are a candidate of any one of those you are directly called in for the interview. More than 24,000 thousands apply for a Ph.D. course in IGNOU. 2,30,317 total number of students get admitted every year. Hope this helps.
