Hi,
GM category are general category students that is, unreserved category students.
GMP candidates are general merit private means Karnataka quota Candidates who take private seats.
Medical General Merit Private Seats (GMP) are for the Resident Overseas Citizenship of India (OCI) Candidates. If you are an OCI Candidate, you can apply in the GMP Category. Over 50% of private quota seats are for OCI Candidates.
But, GM means General Merit list which consists of the candidates' names who have applied for the admission in KEA.
Hope this helps.

Hello student,
Sorry to say you but actually you have not mentioned about which course you are talking about.
But see Vidya Vikas Institute of Engineering and technology is a good private Engineering College with NAAC B+ grade in Mysore. The course fee of bachelor of technology is near about 2.5 lacs. The overall curriculum is updated and the infrastructure and facilities are too good here. The placement average package is of about 3 lakh per annum. There are other courses like Mtech MCA and MBA. You can go to this link below to know more

On the other hand AMC engineering college is also a very good private Engineering College with NAAC grade B++ situated in Bangalore. The course of bachelor of technology costs about 6 lakh to 7 lakh. The average salary package is from 2.5 lpa to 4.5 lpa. There is some seat problems in hostel. Otherwise all is good here.
So I think between them AMC engineering college Bengaluru is the best because it have higher rating in NAAC and also the the salary package offered is bit higher.
