Hi,

A non-domicile candidate can apply only through AIQ for 15% seats or for the private seats in private colleges by participating in state councelling as non-karnataka candidate. Soon the fees structure and seat matrix along with application forms will be out on ( kea.kar.nic.in ) govt quota seats in private colleges is for karnataka candidates only.

A non-domicile can be verified as a domicile if he fulfills one of the eligibility clauses as given in brochure as available on a mentioned website just check it out but I believe most probably that the one who has asked the question is from some other state.

Hope this helps.

Good luck.

In 2021 neet exam, cut off had gone above expectations, minimum Mark's needed to qualify for NEET this year 138 for general.

Hello aspirant ,

First of all congratulations for getting such a good rank in JOSAA councelling as your rank is 8924 .

Since you've mentioned that you have got civil engineering seat in nit surathkal in karnataka , but you want much better branches in the same college - nit surathkal through CSAB counselling.

So , seeing the previous year cutoff trends in CSAB round counsellings , there is high chance for you to grab a seat in cs , it , ee , eee but may be in different colleges of karnataka . If you want to take admissions in karnataka , so nit surathkal works best for you but if you want to take admission in any of your other preferred branch then you have to go for other colleges .

You can also check your admission probabilities in other private colleges , GFTI , NITS according to your rank/percentile with the help of college predictor tool here :

Hello,

NEET 2021 results have been declared by the National Testing Agency NTA.

To predict whether you will definitely get a seat in a college is an uphill task as cut-offs for colleges change every depending upon several factors such as-

• Number of applicants in NEET exam

• NEET question paper difficulty level

• Score of the candidates in NEET 2021 result

• MBBS/BDS seat matrix 2021

NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-

• General /EWS- 50th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile

• General-PwD - 45th percentile

• SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile

Marks wise cut off is as following-

• General - 720-138

• OBC/SC/ST - 137-108

• Gen PwD - 137-122

• (OBC /SC / ST ) PwD - 121-108

Though it was expected that due to higher difficulty level of examination cut-off for colleges will decrease, but it turns out students have performed exceptionally well and the cut offs have increased compared to last year.

See it is quite difficult to help you with the exact list of colleges as the counselling is yet to be conducted and the cut-offs keep on changing every year.

It would have been easier for us to help you with college details precisely, I you had mentioned marks scored in NEET examination, as college cut offs are generally decided by marks. With rank you have mentioned I expect you to be scoring around 470 marks.
