Hello,

You haven't mentioned your category, hence I'm assuming it to be general, going by last year AIQ cut-offs chances for GMC is quite tough, as from your profile it seems you belong to Chhatisgarh hence through state quota you may have chances in private dental colleges such as

  • Chhattisgarh Dental College and Research Institute, Rajnandgaon
  • New Horizon Dental College and Research Institute, Bilaspur
  • Rungta College of Dental Sciences and Research, Bhilai, etc....

however, this is completely based on previous year data, cut-offs are subjected to alter every year based on various factors such as

total number of candidates appearing for the exam

difficulty level of the paper

top NEET scores

reservation

seat matrix, etc..

You can go through previous year cut-offs as follows-

AIQ ~ https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cut-off-for-government-colleges

State Quota ~ https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-chhattisgarh

Yes , 429 is considered a good score in the NEET exam for bams or bhms. With a 429 score, there are chances that you may make it to government medical college.

For general category it is around 450+, For obc it was 380+, For SC it was 350+ and for ST it was 320+ marks, And if your marks are littel less than that of cuttoff so you may get the private college for BAMS Course.
