GECA Aurangabad Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

Government College of Engineering Aurangabad admissions are offered at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. Candidates applying for GECA admissions are required to meet eligibility criteria and appear for the entrance examination. GECA admissions to the B.Tech courses are offered based on the candidate's scores in MHT CET/JEE Main.

Government College of Engineering Aurangabad M.Tech Admission Process 

• The eligible candidates must apply and register for GATE on the GOAPS portal before applying for GECA admissions.
• GECA admissions to the M.Tech courses is based on GATE examination scores. 
• Qualified candidates must register for the state-level counselling process which takes place through the Centralised Admission Process.
• Seats will be allotted based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance examination.
• Verification of documents and payment of GECA admission fees is the last step.

GECA Aurangabad MCA Admission Process 

• The candidates must meet the GECA Aurangabad eligibility criteria.
• Before applying for GECA admission, candidates must register and qualify for the MAH MCA CET examination. 
• The cutoff for GECA admissions will be released after the declaration of the results and the qualified candidates must register for the state-level counselling process which takes place through the Centralised Admission Process.
• Seats will be allotted based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance examination
• After CAP counselling, to fill the vacant seats on the spot counselling round will be conducted by the College and the final GECA admission will be on a merit list basis.

GECA admissions are provided to one Ph.D programme. GECA Aurangabad offers a Ph.D programme in Electrical Engineering specialisation. The course duration of the Ph.D programme is 3 years.

• The eligible candidates must fill out the GECA admission form available on the official website. 
• Then the candidates have to appear and qualify for an entrance test conducted by the GECA Aurangabad admission committee.
• Verification of all the applications will be done in the office of the Principal Coordinator QIP.
• Candidates will be shortlisted for GECA admissions based on performance in the entrance exam and will be called for a personal interview.
