Through the training and placement cell, Government Engineering College Modasa offers placement. Students gain employable skills through training and workshops provided by the Government Engineering College Modasa placement cell. According to NIRF 2025, a total of 278 UG students were placed with a median salary of Rs. 2,57,000 LPA during the GEC Modasa placement drive 2024. GEC Modasa organises guest lectures and invites visiting faculty members from different universities to train students and faculty. 

The GEC Modasa placement cell assists students in achieving their career goals by providing guidance and assistance.
