Hey! Based on your details (Rank 62460, ST – Lambada, 722 marks in IPE), getting a free seat worth 7,50,000 will depend on the cutoff for your category in the current year. Usually, for reserved categories like ST, the cutoff is lower compared to General, so you do have some chances.
However, admission is not guaranteed because it also depends on:
Number of seats available in your course.
The demand for that branch.
Counselling rounds and how many students ahead of you choose.
Hey! With your CRL rank of 162,209 and 953 marks in IPE, here’s what I feel about your chances. Based on previous years’ trends, getting a seat in top-tier NITs or IITs is unlikely, because the cutoffs for popular branches like CSE, ECE, or IT are much higher. However, you can explore government engineering colleges in your state or nearby states where the cutoffs for less-demanded branches are lower. Branches like Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or even Biotechnology might be available depending on seat availability.
If you are open to private colleges, you can get good options for popular branches with slightly higher fees but decent infrastructure and placements. Also, keep an eye on home state quotas in government colleges—they sometimes provide a better chance. My suggestion is to keep your options flexible, focus on branches you are comfortable with, and participate in counseling actively. Don’t be disheartened by rank; good planning can still get you a college with decent education and opportunitie
s.
If your EAMCET rank has not been generated because IPE marks are not added, you need to check whether the declaration form or marks entry was properly submitted. Usually the council provides an option to upload or correct marks through the official portal within the given deadline. Keep monitoring the TS EAMCET official site and contact the helpline immediately so your IPE marks are updated and the final rank is released.
With 49 marks your chances for Bachelors in Occupational Therapy will mainly depend on how your 10 plus 2 IPE marks are added since both entrance and board scores are considered in the merit list. Without IPE marks the rank shown is only provisional. Once your intermediate marks are added the rank will improve and then you can know the exact possibility of getting a BOT seat in Hyderabad colleges. Keep checking the official counselling updates for confirmation.
You meet the basic eligibility criteria and have a good EAPCET rank but it is not good as you get top colleges like osmania and niims.there is less than 50 seats for each so it is quite difficult that you get admission there.
Dont loose hope if you belong to state quota then you will definately get bpt at other good colleges.
Hope it helps..
HELLO,
Yes, you have a possibility of getting a seat in ECE but it depends on the type of college like:-
1.Top government colleges/University colleges :- With a rank of 42330 it is somehow difficult to get ECE in reputed universities like JNTU, OU , AU or top government colleges as their cutoffs are usually below 10-20K.
2.Tier 2 Private colleges :- You may have a chance in good private colleges located in Hyderabad , Warangal or Vijayawada but not in their main branches of ECE still some college keep seats open till 40-45K
3.Tier 3 colleges :- You will definitely get a seat in ECE in mid to lower level engineering colleges
4.Category Advantage :- Since you belong to BC - B your category reservation will slightly improve your chances compared to the open category cutoffs
5.IPE marks(956) - This is a very good score and will likely satisfy the eligibility criteria for most colleges that consider 12th class marks
6.Backup options -If you are not very particular about ECE , you can also for try allied branches like EEE, CSE ,IT or Mechanical where cutoffs are flexible in many institutions
So overall you may not get ECE in top universities but you have a fair chance in mid and private colleges under your category. During counselling keep multiple options open and prioritize colleges wisely because some time during counselling there may be a chance of getting vacant seats.
Hope this Helps!
Hello aspirant,
Yes, the Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) scores are taken into account for the final ranking in the AP EAPCET 2025. A combined score is used to establish the rank, with the normalized AP EAPCET score accounting for 75% of the weight and the IPE marks earned in the applicable group topics (either Biology, Physics, Chemistry for Agriculture & Pharmacy, or Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry for Engineering) accounting for 25%.
Thank you
Hi Student,
Thank you for reaching out!
For AP EAPCET (previously AP EAMCET) 2025, the inclusion of Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) marks will NOT be considered for determining AP EAPCET 2025 ranks. Previously, ranks were calculated using a composite score with 75% weightage from AP EAPCET marks and 25% from IPE group subject marks (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology).

Good afternoon. If you mean IPE (Intermediate Public Examination) marks 980/1000 in Telangana or Andhra Pradesh, then the CSE B.Tech fee depends on your EAMCET rank and whether you’re admitted under:
1. Government category (Convener quota via EAMCET) – Fee is fixed by the state government for that college type:
Govt engineering colleges: 10,000–35,000/year.
Private colleges (Category A): 45,000–1,35,000/year depending on the fee structure approved by AFRC.
2. Management quota – Usually 1.5–2.5 lakh/year for average private colleges, and 2.5–5 lakh/year in top private colleges.
Your IPE marks alone don’t decide the fee — your EAMCET rank is the deciding factor for convener quota seats.
Our college provides a good infrastructure for us. Our college has a good library, a big auditorium, two seminar halls and facilities for various sports. Classrooms are well maintained with smartboards and LMS Impartus system.
