Hello Dhanush!!

Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) Counselling is conducted by Anna University to fill the engineering seats across Tamil Nadu.

TNEA admission process is based only upon the cutoff marks scored in 12th class, not based upon the 12th marks. To calculate the cutoff marks, refer the formula given below,

Cutoff = M + (P/2) + (C/2)

where M denotes the Mathematics marks, P stands for the marks scored in Physics subject and C stands for the marks scored in Chemistry subject.

After calculating the cutoff, you can visit the previous year cutoffs link provided in the official website of TNEA for your further reference. After the release of rank list, you can also visit the TNEA college predictor which is given in the below link,

https://engineering.careers360.com/tnea-college-predictor

After the calculation of cutoff only, we can predict the colleges you can get in the counselling. Feel free to comment!!

Hope this information helps you a lot!

Best of luck!!

Greetings of the day dear aspirant

There is no such criteria (minimum JEE marks) for admission in to SASTRA university. SASTRA university has a separate procedure through stream 1 and stream 2 .

Stream 1
70 percent seats of every branch are filled through stream 1 based on 12 th percentage ( 75 percent after normalisation ) + JEE mains score ( 25 percent )

For example
12 th percentage - 88 (CBSE) and JEE mains score is 80 .
Normalised percentage of board would be as follows
88 * 100/98.6 = 89.25
(Assuming percentage of topper is 98.6 )
Now 89.25 * 0.75 + 80 * 0.25 =86.94
This is your final score . AIR (SASTRA) is prepared based on this final score . There is a chance AIR up to 4000 .
If someone is a topper of board exam and his JEE mains score is 40 then final score would be 85 and AIR (SASTRA) would be above 5000 . It proves that there is no chance for JEE mains score below 40 in stream 1 .

Stream 2 .
30 percent seats of every branch are filled through stream 2 based on 12 th percentage .
There is very less chance for percentage below 95 in stream 2 .
I know your chances are less but your intermediate marks is good so you still stand a chance to get admission through stream 1.
I would recommend you to apply for SASTRA without any fear as I see a little possibility that you may get a seat there.

Hello aspirant,

Aspirants who have given the AP EAMCET 2021 will have a curiosity about marks vs rank. The aspirants must keep in mind that 75% is derived from AP EAMCET score and 25% from IPE (Intermediate Public Exams) marks. The aspirants must note that the rank is given on the basis of the above weightage. The group subject marks of IPE, i.e., Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Botany or Zoology are considered for calculating the ranks. Practical exam marks will also be considered. By analyzing the previous trends of marks vs rank of AP EAMCET it can be considered that for a Combined Score range of IPE and AP EAMCET of 79-70 the Rank Range will be 1,001-5,000.

Hope this helps,

All the Best!!

Hello,

If you are enquiring about TS EAMCET rank, it is quite difficult to predict the exact rank, it is because the rank is determined based on factors such as total number of candidates appeared, highest score in exam, normalization of marks etc. This year weightage is not given for marks scored in IPE. The rank is based on marks scored in TS EAMCET Entrance Examination. With 70 marks you may expect the rank to be around 35000. The actual rank may vary depending on the factors mentioned above.

HI aspirsnt,

ts eamcet is an entrance exam for btech and it is held from july 5-9 2021 on march 6th 2021 the exam schedule is released by TSCHE last day of registration is may 18 .

for the prediction of the college according to your marks please check the below mentioned link

All the  best!

Hello,

Considering that you are enquiring regarding TS EAMCET, it is quite difficult to indicate the score that is required to secure rank under 10,000. It is because the marks vs rank trend changes every year depending on highest score in the exam, tie breakers, total number of candidates appeared etc. This year IPE marks are not given any weightage so the rank entirely depends on the marks scored in TS EAMCET. To have decent chances of securing a rank under 10,000 you need to score minimum 110-120 marks or above in TS EAMCET. This is an estimated score the actual rank with the given score may vary.

Hello,

Yes, candidates appearing for AP EAPCET belonging Non-local area will be given weightage for IPE score and marks scored in AP EAPCET. 25% marks scored in group subjects in qualifying examination and 75% marks scored in AP EAPCET will be combined to determine the rank of the candidate. The candidates belonging to non-local area will be considered under general category. Such candidates will be allotted seat under General category.

Hello Aspirant

The admission in SASTRA University is based upon two streams:

Stream 1: 75% marks of class 12 boards and 25% marks of JEE mains is considered for ranking.
70% of the seats get filled with this stream.
As your IPE marks are a bit less then your rank will be increased.

If your class 12th percentage is around 90-95% and 80% in JEE Mains then you have good chances to get into SASTRA University.

Stream 2: Your rank is calculated based upon your class 12 percentage only.

30% seats get filled with this stream.
Since the number of seats is less will this stream, the competition is very high. To get into SASTRA through this stream, you need more than 95% in your class 12th boards.

- If you are applying to SASTRA University through Stream 1 then your marks are calculated as
12th percentage* 0.75+jee main mark * 0.25

Your marks are calculated out of 165. So as per your marks you will getting your merit number. If your merit number is less than the number of seats then you have good chances to get into SASTRA University.

Hope this helps
All the best

Hello aspirant,

It depends on how an aspirant has studied. EAMCET questions are given to analyze an aspirant's grip on all the formulas in every topics which is there in the syllabus, as maximum EAMCET questions depends upon formulas.

According to some aspirants who have cracked the exam, for scoring well in EAMCET candidates should practice topics from these books of both 1st & 2nd year :-

For MATHS (A&B) - IPE TEXTBOOK

For PHYSICS- NARAYANA/SRI CHAITANYA

For CHEMISTRY - NARAYANA/SRI CHAITANYA

IPE has a great content of concepts. If an aspirant is familiar with them then he/she will not require coaching. But for EAMCET candidates should practice solving problems with speed and accuracy. For that they must complete previous 10 years papers of EAMCET.

Hope this helps,

All the Best!!
