It's challenging to give you an exact rank for AP EAPCET with just your EAPCET marks and IPE marks. Here's why:
Rank Calculation: Your EAPCET rank is determined by a combination of your EAPCET score (75% weightage) and your IPE (Intermediate Public Examination) marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology (25% weightage). Since you've provided your total IPE marks out of 600, we need the marks specifically in these three subjects to calculate the weighted IPE score accurately.
Formula: The formula to calculate the combined score (out of 100) used for ranking is:
Combined Score = (0.75 * Your EAPCET Marks out of 160) + (0.25 * Your IPE Marks in relevant subjects out of 600, scaled to 160)
Or, a more precise way considering the percentage:
Combined Score = (0.75 * (Your EAPCET Marks / 160) * 100) + (0.25 * (Your IPE Marks in relevant subjects / 600) * 100)
Marks between 50-59 often correspond to a rank range of 25,001 to 30,000 or even higher .
Here is a list of prominent engineering colleges in India that may offer free or subsidized seats based on merit or IPE (Intermediate Public Examination) marks, often through government scholarship programs or merit-based fee waivers:
Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) – Across various locations (Mumbai, Delhi, Kanpur, Kharagpur, etc.)
National Institutes of Technology (NITs) – Across various locations
Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani
Government College of Engineering (COE), Pune
Anna University, Chennai
Delhi Technological University (DTU), Delhi
Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) – Across various locations
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Hyderabad
National Institute of Engineering, Mysuru
VIT University, Vellore
Each of these colleges may have specific scholarship or free seat programs based on merit or state exam rankings. It’s best to check the respective college’s official website or consult with the state education board for specific details regarding fee concessions or free seats.
Hi Manisha,
Yes, if you have gotten back your Intermediate 2nd-year exams (IPE) results and failed, you can opt for a re-evaluation and have the answer sheets rechecked as well. In addition to the re-evaluation process, you are also permitted to write supplementary exams of the same subjects in the next attempt stated by the board. It is best to apply for re-evaluation first and prepare for your supplementary exams with a possibility that your marks could see a boost after re-checking the re-evaluation marks.

Based on the given information, it is highly unlikely that you will get admission into G. Narayanamma Institute of Technology and Science (GNITS) based solely on your TS Intermediate (IPE) marks.
Here's why:
Therefore, your score of 824 out of 1000 in TS Intermediate will not be the deciding factor for admission. You need to focus entirely on your TS EAMCET preparation and secure a good rank to have a chance of getting a seat in GNITS.
Hope This Helps !
Well the chances for you to get CSE depends on your SASTRA rank. If you are in the first 500 ranks you can get a CSE seat for sure. A lot of people might have got more than 89 percentile in JEE.
The admission solely depends on merit and the the percentile of other students. And one thing more If you get a cgpa of around 8.5 in your first year, you can slide to CSE.
Hope it helps!!
Best of luck and god bless!
Hi vamsi
With 970 marks in the IPE (Intermediate Public Examination), you have a strong chance of getting into SASTRA University, especially for core branches like CSE, ECE, and EEE. A score of 975 is generally considered a safe zone for these core branches, but 970 is still competitive. But it considers IPE marks as a major factor in admission, with some additional consideration for JEE (Main) scores in certain cases.
Thanks

1. Government Scholarship-
Your own state government also has scholarship programs. If you got good marks in your 12th-grade exams (your IPE) and you want to study further in your state (like Telangana or Andhra Pradesh), check what they offer. Andhra Pradesh, for example, used to have something called the Jnanabhumi Scholarship.
There's another scholarship called NMMS, but that's mostly for students in classes 9 to 12. However, sometimes they might look at how you did in your 10th-grade exams, which is sort of the base for how you did in your IPE later on, for some extra help.
So, the main idea is that if you scored well in your 12th grade and your family's income isn't too high, there are government scholarships at both the national and state levels that could help you pay for your college studies. Make sure to check the specific rules for each one to see if you qualify.
2. Private Scholarships- Besides the government, there are also non-government groups that give money for studies. For instance, the North-South Foundation gives scholarships if you got at least around 85% in your 12th grade and are heading to college.
Big companies like Reliance also have scholarships, and they might look at your 12th-grade marks too. Even banks like HDFC have programs to help students facing tough times, and your good marks in 12th could be something they consider.
Loads of other smaller groups, charities, and companies also offer scholarships based on how well you did in your 12th-grade exams. You'll need to do some digging to find these. Websites like Buddy4Study and Vidhyaa.in are like online sites where you can look for these kinds of private scholarships. So, apart from the government, keep an eye out for these private options as well – they could be another way to get help with your college costs.
College Scholarships - Many colleges and universities offer their own merit-based scholarships to students based on their entrance exam scores as well as their marks in the qualifying examinations like IPE. When you are applying to colleges, be sure to check their scholarship or financial aid sections on their websites.
I hope this helps.
