The college Library dates back to 2014 with the inception of the "University of Jammu and Kashmir". It was established to cater to the academic and research needs of the scholars, students and teachers of University of Kashmir. With the split of the erstwhile Jammu and Kashmir University in 1969, the collection of the library was shared by the libraries of two Universities Viz., University of Jammu and University of Kashmir. In 1975, the Central Library of the University of Kashmir was shifted to its present multistoried building.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has a departmental based laboratory facility for the students.

The college has its own health Centre with qualified doctors and para-medical staff. The Centre looks after the health problems of the students and the employees especially those who live on the Campus.

The college Sports was established in 2014 with an avowed objective of promoting sports culture among the youth for the overall development of the personality. The sports events being organized under the auspices of the Directorate at a state and national level will go a long way in promoting cultural integration amongst the people belonging to different geographical settings and socio-economic backgrounds besides helping Sports Tourism in Kashmir. Blessed with temperate and salubrious climate, lush green forests, plenty of water bodies, snow-clawed terraces underneath.

The college has a boys’ hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.
