Verified ReviewCollege Infrastructure
The infrastructure at Katihar Engineering College has witnessed significant transformations since its inception. Now fully operational at its permanent campus in Hajipur, Katihar (near NH-31), the physical setup has transitioned into a well-designed, modern environment. The college features a contemporary academic building equipped with high-tech classrooms. Many of these lecture halls are fully air-conditioned and furnished with smart boards, creating an interactive learning atmosphere that aligns with modern digital standards. Campus-wide free Wi-Fi connectivity is accessible to students, enabling them to easily utilize online resources and learning portals. The laboratory infrastructure is highly branch-specific and built to facilitate realistic learning. For the Mechanical branch, advanced labs such as the CNC Machine Lab, AutoCAD Lab, 3D Printing Lab, and a welding simulator are operational, allowing students to bridge the gap between theory and actual practice. Computer Science and Engineering students benefit from specialized computer centers with reliable systems and updated software environments. The campus also features a central library that houses an extensive collection of academic textbooks, reference guides, and journals. Students can borrow core curriculum books for up to 15 days, which provides a helpful academic buffer.
It is enriching
