KITM provides hostel facility to its students. Students from distant places do not have to run here and there for accommodation. They can live in comfortable rooms and enjoy all the facilities provided in the hostel. The boy's hostels are on the Institute campus only, thus saving valuable time for students otherwise spent on traveling. Full security is ensured and strict discipline is maintained. The boys' hostel has the capacity to accommodate 300 boys. All rooms are spacious and well ventilated. Comfortable furniture and enough storage space are provided in each room. There are 24-hour water and power supply.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students. First Aid and 24-hour ambulance facilities are provided in the Institute to take care of the emergency medical needs of students and staff.

The college has Well equipped gymnasium for fitness. The college pays attention to the good health of the students and for this purpose, a gymnasium has been provided with the latest equipment and machines.

The library of the institute is presently housed in a fully air-conditioned building with a vast area of 732 sqm on the ground and first floors of Block-C. It supports the teaching, research, and extension programs of the institute. All students, faculty members, and employees of the institute are entitled to make use of the library facilities. The spacious reading hall enables users to utilize their spare time in the library. The location of the library provides an ideal environment, where the student can study in solitude and comfort. The library has a collection of about fifteen thousand books, covering all the branches of engineering and Management Studies including reference books. The digital library contains digital media books and magazines, cassettes, etc. Standard books pertaining to the prescribed syllabi as well as a wide spectrum of inspiring books and books of current topics are added to the library as and when required. The purchase of books is a continuous process in the institute. The library is subscribing to more than 2000 online journals through INDEST- AICTE Consortium encompassing all disciplines in addition to the printed journals and magazines. The library is fully computerized with the bar-coding of the library resources and students' identification records. All the functions of the library have been automated thus bringing efficiency in the library service and time saving for staff and students. It is equipped with a surveillance system. The library has a broadband dedicated internet connection which enables the users of the library to access e-journals and other knowledge resources from national and international data mines. The library offers a combination of online and offline knowledge resources designed to provide the users with a holistic and comprehensive information service for their professionals, reference, and recreational needs. The library holdings can be accessed by a computerized online public access catalog (OPAC). It allows searchers for materials by keywords, or through several access points like author, title, subject, etc.

KITM feels that physical fitness is as important as education. So, a huge and well-maintained playground is present in the institute. Various games like cricket, football, basketball, etc. are organized here under the supervision of a qualified Sports Officer. The institute often organizes sports activities and meets for the all-round development of the student.

The computer labs are equipped with Core 2 Duo systems and the computer center is integrated with LAN. Internet connectivity is provided with 22 Mbps link. The entire campus is provided with Wi-Fi connectivity. The internet service is provided to all faculty members, students, and supporting staff. This facility is extensively used by the students, especially the hostellers and the faculty for learning and academic activities.

Hygienic food is a necessity for a healthy mind which helps a student to concentrate more and more on his/her studies. Thus, KITM has a very hygienic and well-designed cafeteria where students of all courses get a chance to interact with each other and take a good meal. The cafeteria of the campus supplies quality snacks and eatables.

There is an auditorium in the basement of the B-Block of the institute. The College Auditorium has a fixed stage and can accommodate up to 300 people. It provides all the audio-visual aids. It is widely used for organizing seminars, celebrations, and indoor activities. The auditorium provides the students with a base for showcasing their talent to the others.

KITM offers transportation services to and fro from the college to the areas not more than 50 km away from the campus. The fleet of buses runs on a no-profit-no-loss basis. College transportation has many advantages for students. It teaches time-management to the students. It is economical for parents. It is a convenient and safe choice to reach the institute.

The Institute provides workshops and laboratories with suitable machines and equipment which helps students to upgrade their knowledge and hands-on skills to cope up with real-life projects. The workshop imparts training to all the engineering students. The students are given projects which relate to their discipline to work in the labs and workshops. Students get in-depth knowledge of theory through experiments in labs. They also learn to design and simulate experiments. The Final Year and Post Graduate students in the discipline utilize the facilities of the labs and workshop in connection with their project and dissertation work.

The shopping complex on the campus caters to the day to day needs of the staff and students. The shops provide facilities like photostat, photography, etc., and necessary stationery items for day to day use of students and residents.

In line with the vision of Govt. of India, KITM promotes cashless transactions through POS and Internet Banking, etc. The campus has got an ATM facility, set up by Punjab National Bank at the main gate of the campus.

The college has a guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
