MAIT Delhi Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

MAIT infrastructure has four blocks of well furnished boys hostels on its campus. Hostels have about 40 single seater rooms, 65 double seater rooms and 7 four seater rooms which have all the basic furniture like bed, wardrobe, chair, table, light, fan, etc. The hostels have an in-house mess for the accommodates along with a common room, gymnasium and sports facilities provided by the MAIT college. The water and electricity is provided to the accommodates 24x7 by the institute.

MAIT facilities in its medical centre include first aid facilities to all its students and staff, along with a full time doctor who is available in the college campus during the day. For medical emergencies or advanced treatment students can visit the Maharaja Agrasen Hospital, Punjabi Bagh and Shree Agrasen International Hospital(SAIH), Sec-22, Rohini and they will get a special discount.

Physical activity and fitness is also equally important as academics for students, and for that the MAIT college provides gymnasium facilities to its students, faculty members and staff. The gymnasium at the MAIT Delhi has all the basic facilities with the latest and high quality equipment along with a professional instructor to guide the students and staff.

The library at the MAIT college is divided into four floors. It is well equipped and facilitated with a seating capability for about 350 people. The library has a vast collection of books which also include course curriculums, magazines, journals and beyond the curriculum reading material available. The MAIT Delhi has also made the library accessible digitally and the students have access to Wi-Fi at the library to look for study resources online. 

The indoor games and outdoor sports facilities provided by the MAIT Delhi include a basketball court, a tennis court, a cricket ground, a volleyball court, table tennis tables, carrom, chess, multipurpose sports ground, basic equipment for the said sports and games. The MAIT college ensures that its students participate in sports activities to keep them healthy and fit while also getting peace of mind and entertainment through sports which helps in the overall development of the students.

The Computer Center is responsible for administering and managing the entire campus computer network, which comprises departments (engineering and management), the main administrative building, the library, and the hostel. The data centre has 21 servers and 40 HP computers with Intel Core i3 (6th Gen.) processors. The centre is fully networked with high-end intelligent MikroTik, HP, and CISCO routers and switches and Wi-Fi connectivity for the academic, administrative, and hostel blocks of the campus, with internet facilities on all nodes.

Healthy, nutritious and delicious food is necessary to provide energy to students and the canteen at the MAIT college caters to that and provides the students and staff with nutritious and appetising meals at affordable prices with a variety of cuisine and mini-pack lunches to save time of the students. The MAIT campus has about 4 food courts and the main canteen has  seating capacity of about 100 students. 

The MAIT infrastructure has two auditoriums available on its campus. The main auditorium which is mostly used to organise various cultural activities, discuss about a particular subject, conferences and seminars, holds seating capabilities for about 750 students. The MAIT facilities for the main auditorium consists of high quality sound system and comfortable seating and it is carpeted as well. The mini auditorium at the MAIT college is used to organise various events and activities as well and it has a seating capacity of 120 students.

The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. There is W-Fi connectivity in the campus premises for students and staff members.

The MAIT infrastructure also has a bank on its campus which is a branch of Union Bank of India and it is accessible by all the students, faculty members and staff for their transactional and banking needs. There is also an ATM installed by the bank which is available 24x7 for any requirements of the students and staff at the MAIT college.

On the campus premises, there are several departmental based laboratories for students.
