    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is not so good as compared to other colleges as there is only 1 ground and that too in which the grass is not grown properly and the buildings are very old styled and benches are broken

    Academics

The faculty is good and hardworking and the classes happen in a proper manner with long academic hours everyday which provides a good amount of study in a day which helps students retain everything thought

    Placements

Placements are good here as all the top rated companies come here and offer a good amount of students every year so the placement cell is great which helps students further for the placements in campus

    College Infrastructure

The infrastructure of our college was pretty decent with the state of the art buildings and spacious library. Our college provides basic facilities like sports ground, canteen, water cooler and so on. Classroom and washroom are cleaned on regular basis. One thing I disliked is that, there is only one single ground for all the sports.

    Academics

The course curriculum is quite good but students need to work on some extra skills which help them to shine like a diamond in the group of coal. They provide best notes which are required for examination. Faculties are always there to solve your doubts.

    Placements

Placements in our college are very decent in the IT branch as we saw the stats of students recruited by major companies. Companies which visit our college is Infotech, Accenture, cognizant and many more. College also provides internship opportunities for students.

    Value for Money

My total fees for 4 year was ₹4 Lacs at that time . If you're getting better college in same price so you must take admission there

    Campus Life

Students ar engaged in extracurricular activities like dancing, mimicry, and they represent their talent in front of us.

Very good infrastructure of our college. Clean and green campus, good environment, and discipline in the college. The facilities provided in the college are also very nice. Hostel and food provided in the college are also good. Overall, it's a good college.

    Academics

Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. We can go to them anytime within college hours. This course curriculum is very relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are as per the DU syllabus.

    Placements

Overall, a good college and till now, I've learned a lot of things in the 80% of students were placed in our course. 6 LA were offered, as per my knowledge. College Infrastructure

The campus is located in Rohini, which is quite far from South Delhi where I live. The surrounding area isn't great, so living in a hostel isn't a good option. The campus is small but still we can say the infrastructure is decent. It doesn't matter basically.

    Academics

The college doesn't pay much attention to the students. Classes are not held regularly, and many students find them uninteresting. In the IT department, things are more relaxed. Students can upgrade their branch if they have a high CGPA and JEE rank. Attendance is not strictly enforced. However, the faculty and staff do not provide much support for internships or jobs. It's difficult to get leave for internships, but I managed to get some. There's no strong culture of coding.

    Placements

The placements weren't great before, but they've improved now. Recession is going on so may be placement will not good this year too. I was hired by Cognizant. Although the starting salary isn't very high, it will increase with experience.

    Value for Money

It is about more than one lakh fifty thousand. It is worth.

infrastructure is good on the campus, and day by day it will change with new thoughts and ideas. The college has update systems, big A/C seminar halls, and delicious food in the canteen, large playground, convenient bikes and cars parking, etc. There are strict rules to maintain on the campus. Very good in maintenance

    Academics

The faculty members are good, and they are PhD and M.Tech holders. The course like B.tech, M.tech, and MBA are available in my college. The faculty members are provided in the safety purpose as extra one or two faculty members for each subject. The college has good and experienced very good teacher

    Placements

communication skills, and they also provide communication classes to the students. Sports and extracurricular activities are also conducted on the campus, and the most important thing is discipline in my college is good. Every year, the companies like Infosys very in placements.

Have a question related to MAIT Delhi ?

Sir I got 92 percentile corresponding to which I got 123625 rank in 2025.Can i get IT branch in MAIT ,i belong to obc category and homestate too

With a 92 percentile and a rank of 123625, it's challenging but possible to get a seat in MAIT (Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology) in the OBC category and through your home state quota, particularly if you are willing to consider branches other than the most competitive ones like CSE or IT.

    Get more info here -:

    Hello Kavya,

If your main interest is in CSE , then go for CSE in MAIT via IPU .

Even though DTU is a better college overall, getting a branch you are not interested in (like Mechanical) may not keep you motivated. In the long run, branch matters more than college , especially in fields like computer science where there are many job opportunities.

But if you are open to learning coding on your own and want the DTU tag, you can still take Mechanical at DTU and try for branch change later (though it's not easy and depends on first-year performance), or you can learn coding side-by-side.

    But to keep it simple:

    • If CSE is your priority , go for MAIT CSE .

    • If college name matters more to you , then you can think about DTU Mechanical .

    Hope this helps !

    Hello Amit,

With a 92 percentile in JEE Mains, you have a solid chance of securing admission to colleges like MAIT (Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology), MSIT (Maharaja Surajmal Institute of Technology), and BVP (Bharati Vidyapeeth University) for B.Tech, depending on the branch and the category you belong to.

    1. MAIT & MSIT (Delhi):

    • Cutoff : For branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, the cutoff is generally between 90-95 percentile in JEE Mains.

    • Counseling : Both MAIT and MSIT take part in Delhi University counseling, and admission is based on the rank and availability of seats.

    • Reservation : If you're from a reserved category (SC/ST/OBC), you may get an advantage in the cutoffs.

      2. BVP (Pune):

    • BVP CET : While BVP conducts its own entrance exam, students with a good JEE Mains percentile often get a direct entry, especially for courses like CSE, ECE, and Mechanical Engineering.

    • Cutoff : For popular branches, cutoffs range between 90-95 percentile in JEE Mains, but you'll need to clear the BVP CET for final admission.

    • Reservation : The university also provides reservations, which could help you if you're from a reserved category.

Make sure to check each college’s official website or counseling portal for the most accurate and updated information. Also, keep an eye on the cutoffs for the specific branches you’re interested in.
