Course Details

Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is a two-year online degree programme designed for those looking to become strategic, innovative technology leaders in an ever-evolving world. The Manipal Online MCA programme offers students Google Cloud Computing Foundations curriculum. This will provide them with the breadth of cloud technology with concepts, assessments, hands-on labs, and a capstone project on topics such as cloud infrastructure, big data, machine learning, and application development. The classes for online MCA at Manipal University, Jaipur can be attended live. Students can also get access to recorded lectures. The total Manipal University Online MCA fee is Rs 1,50,000.

Eligibility Criteria

There are certain online MCA eligibility criteria which should be met by interested candidates to enrol in the online MCA offered by Manipal University, Jaipur. The online MCA eligibility is as follows:

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Applications/Computer Science/Information Technology with not less than 50% marks from any AIU-recognised University.
Candidates from different streams like Business Administration, Commerce, and Science, with having studied Mathematics in 10+2 can also apply for the course.
Candidates must have obtained 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) in their Graduation. Also, such candidates will have to attend a bridge course in Fundamentals of Computer and Information Technology (IT) in their first semester along with other topics.

Admission Details

To get admission to the online MCA offered by Manipal University, Jaipur, eligible candidates must know the following points:

Fill up an application form online within the allotted time by visiting the official website of the university.
After filling up the application form completely, admission will be given.
Further, the university may or may not call the candidates for verification of the documents during the course.
In the case of an incomplete application form, candidates will be given provisional enrollment. However, the candidates will have to submit the documents to complete the application at the earliest to the University.
Pay the requisite course fee at the time of final semester re-registration.

Sending a printed copy of the application form is not required.
After filling in the application form online, candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500 which is adjustable.

Evaluation Process

The Manipal University Online MBA exam will be conducted in a computer-based mode. Students can appear for the exam from their homes. They must have a laptop/ desktop with a working webcam and a good internet connection. They will be issued an admit card wherein the detail of the exam schedule will be mentioned. They must have a valid ID card along with the exam photo admit card with them at the time of the examination.

The exam will be divided into two parts:

Theory paper
Practical paper

Theory Papers - Performance-based assessment will be done on the basis of two factors - continuous assessment (CA) and term-end examinations (TEE). The assessment will be done in a ratio of 70:30.

Continuous Assessment (CA) will be based on assignments designed by Manipal University while the Term-end examinations (TEE) will have descriptive and multiple-choice type questions.

Candidates will have to secure 40% marks in both CA and TEE to pass the semester.

Practical Papers (as applicable) - The assessment ratio for term-end examinations (TEE) to continuous assessment (CA) is 30:70 in practical papers. Students must get at least 40% marks to pass the practical paper. The assessment in the practical examination will be done on the basis of the day-to-day exercises that are given.

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is very good and it has many facilities like library canteen ac classes with projectors and very high tech labs . It is a very good University...... Their is a big board of manipal University Jaipur
