With 520marks and belonging to SC category I think you might get govt medical college through state quota in west Bengal. As per previous year the minimum cut off of WB for sc under state quota was 349 marks of maldah medical College. Here are few colleges with their previous year cut off

  • Nil ratan sircar medical College and hospital 413
  • RG kar medical College and hospital 401 and many more in WB

Dear Sir / Ma'm, the cut-offs this year may increase by a slight bit. The cut-off for getting into Medical College and Hospital, Kolkata was 453 for SC category students in the 85% state quota counselling; while it was 525 for SC candidates through the 15% All India quota counselling in the year 2018. So you have faint chances of getting into the aforesaid college.

The cut off of previous year in medical college of kolkata under state quota is 563 which is very close to your marks.

First of all, Congratulations for your good score. Previous year NEET 2018 cutoff for Medical College, Kolkata is 563 for General, 559 for OBC, 453 for SC and 330 for ST category candidates. Based on your score there is some good chances for you to get a seat here. 

It is expected to be same cutoff this year too, but it totally depends upon no. Of students, seats and other factors.

Dear Partha, as per previous year the cut off for College of Medicine and SagarDutta Hospital was 499 under STATE QUOTA for UR category. If this trend continues then you have a chance of getting to this college. 

This year the exam was bit easy compared to the previous year, so the cuttoffs are expected to increase which can make it difficult for you. 

You can wait for the exact cut off to be released.
