I’ve had a mixed experience at this college but I must say, the recent infrastructure changes have been a step in the right direction. Washrooms are pretty clean most of the time. There are computer labs available.
It’s affiliated to anna university. So common syllabus. The quality of teaching really depends on the staff. Some teacher are awesome and some just aren’t. The curriculum is fine. You’ll be job ready if u study at least 1 subject for a sem properly.
They do have placement, but not a lot of students get placed. Most of them aren’t core companies either. So might have to look for jobs outside. Students do get placed but it’s very few. You work hard you’ll get placed.
My course costs 70k per year. This wasn’t that bad but then with the renovation, the fees has also increased to around 1.25 lakhs so I’m not sure about value for money. There are better colleges for this much fees I think
Campus is not much it’s just one building with 5 floors which has engineering, mba and arch depts and there’s a canteen inside which is ok-ish. The one upside is that it’s in the city, unlike a lot of other engineering colleges.
I’m not sure if I would recommend this to anyone. It might not be the best college but it isn’t the worst either. A very ok-ish college. However if you’re expecting a top notch education with all the bells and whistles, you might want to consider other options. I mean it basically feels like school and strict dress code is followed. Will definitely make you feel like school was better, but all the colleges will do that so what the hell?
