The placement scenario on campus has been affected due to covid this time. Though one cannot expect lucrative packages in the domestic companies. It starts with min. 2lpa-4lpa and is further increased while you work in the industry. The companies even the renowned ones does not offer lucrative package. Students usually grab off-campus placements and are satisfied with the available company or they further keep on exploring opportunities. There isn't much support from the college wrt placements.

NIFT being NIFT has the highest no.of placement offers rolled out to their students in 2019. As many as 352 companies have offered placements to the students in their Campus. Few of the companies were 02 June Design studio, Abhishek Zaveri, AK Studio, Agni, Blackberrys, Bloomcraft Apparels, Boat Song, Charmboard Deco De Trend, etc.The companies that visit the campus should match the eligibility criteria listed for registering to recruit NIFT students through their placement drive. Based on their product or its operations, thr companies are Categorised into:
First Categorisation: Product Group
Second Categorisation: Type of Firms
2rd Categorisation: Type of skill sets/functions
And NIFT is the favourite destination for all impeccable designers creative managers, tech savvy fashion professionals and not only for the leading core companies in fashion business and so there is no dearth for placements. Hi,
At the postgraduate level in NIFT, you will be offered 3 courses relating to fashion which are M.Des or master in design, M.F.M or master in fashion management and lastly M.FTech or master in fashion technology. All the 3 courses are for a duration of 2 years.
