Ews is new category which government has introduced this subcategory, whose family income is less than 8lakhs. But this category has very laess reservation, which is around 10%

Based on last year's record, you should get admission in in SGSITS with this 26000 rank in case of general category. Where You might get department like

1. Computer science

2. Electronics and communication engineering

3.electrical engineering

4.mechanical engineering

5. Civil engineering

6.biomedical engineering

But in case ews the chances of getting admission seems less, in case of ews category you need to have rank within 10000.

First of all Congratulating you on your performance and considering the fact that you belong to general EWS (Economical weaker section) and your jee mains percentile is 68,i think. It is very difficult for you to get a seat in sgsit indore because last year closing rank for civil engineering was around 49 thousand which will have percentile around 95 to 96.All other branches have cut off below 49 thousand. Although you have economical weaker quota but it would not be able to full such large gap. But still I would suggest you to lock your choices smartly because this year number of student appeared for jee main has reduced, thus who know you might get, although statistics are against you.

Based on your JEE mains marks vs percentile will be in between 92.95 and 93.15 and your rank will be in between 62929 and 75079. According, to your rank you can get only B.E. in Biomedical Engineering in SGSITS - Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science. But under home state quota you might get some other branches too.

see  the cutoff score change every year and admission to lateral entry students in btech course is done by lateral entry test and diploma score . however every year cutoff score changes and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix,students category, choice of streams etc. however if your diploma course aggregate in more than 90 percentage you have decent chances. I suggest you to apply and participate in the counselling process and lets see whats come around.

SGSITS takes admission in b.tech through JEE MAINS according to previous year trends closing rank for CSE is around 20k that is somewhere around 98 to 97 percentile in the paper .
