Shri Ram Polytechnic, Madhubani was established in the year 2013 as a privately affiliated institution in Sijoul, Bihar. The co-educational establishment is duly approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and offers engineering diploma level courses. The institute bases its admission for all first-year diploma courses on entrance examinations. It accepts two major entrance test scores: the Bihar Diploma Certificate Entrance Competitive Examination, conducted by DCECE, Bihar, Patna, and the admission test conducted by the Bihar Private Technical & Professional Institutions Association, BPTPIA, Patna. These examinations are open to students who have passed their 10th standard from a recognized board or its equivalent. For lateral entry into the second year of diploma courses, the institute considers students with 10+2 Science, ITI, or 10+2 with a vocational course from a recognized institute. Admissions to these lateral entries are also made through the entrance tests conducted by BPTPIA and DCECE.
