Medical facilities are good, and the mess is better compared to most colleges. The cafe is nice at first, but you get bored easily because it doesn't offer many good options. The classrooms and the library are also really nice. The Wi-Fi restricts apps like WhatsApp and Amazon. The network in hostels is very limited
The course curriculum is relevant. Teachers are quite variable, but many of them are not very good at teaching, so you have to study on your own for many subjects, or you can go to other teachers who might explain the topics better. Exams are unnecessarily frequent. We have three exams in total, and as soon as one ends, there are lab tests
Companies such as STMicroelectronics, Cadence, and Intel. The highest package for the 2025 batch is around 46 LPA, and the average package is around 8.5 LPA. The roles offered include Embedded Systems, VLSI Design Trainee, Hardware Engineer, etc.
The mess food is average and hygienic but repetitive, and many students prefer outside food or canteen options. Overall, JIIT is a good option for serious CSE students but less ideal for other branches or those seeking a relaxed college experience. It's okay.
The college conducts very hard and frequent exams, 3 times. Some teachers are very learned and good, but a lot of them just read PPTs, and that's it. They are also not very open to ideas and questions, and are not as engaging teachers as one expects in a college.
The average package is around 11 LPA, but this is primarily for CSE. Students from ECE and other branches often struggle with core placements and rely on IT roles. The college is strict, with a disciplined academic environment but a limited extracurricular culture. Overall, it's a great choice for dedicated CSE aspirants but may not offer equal opportunities for other branches or those seeking vibrant campus life.
The college campus is peaceful and lush green. Classrooms are well-cleaned and maintained. In hot summer days, we will definitely feel the lack of AC, but most of the time in a year, we will have absolutely no problem at all. There is no Wi-Fi facility. There's a huge library facility for us, and it contains plenty of books.
Teaching quality isn't that good. After some classes, we will feel like it would be better to learn things from YouTube rather than those lectures. Very few faculty members are knowledgeable, but others are not that good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes us industry-ready, but not for the MNCs. Semester exams are quite difficult.
Maximum of 60-70% students get placed in our course. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Cognizant, etc. I have no idea about roles offered to students. The average package is 5 LPA, which I have heard from seniors. I have not heard about internships in our college.
Wi-Fi is available, but not given to students. Rooms are not available because of a huge influx of admissions. The rest of the things are good. Labs are well-maintained. The seminar hall is also good. Our department class is in a bad position, and AC is not working at all.
Some teachers are very good, and some are poor. The maximum lab faculty members is bad. They behave badly toward students. Sometimes, they say such words that are very demotivating. They put pressure on attendance pressure, or else our CA marks are affected, which gives us an absence and affects CGPA.
Placements are average for the CSE course and very bad for core subjects. In civil, there are chances of being placed off campus or on campus by the placement cell. Our CSBS placements are good. The Tata company hires us, but if we find off-campus, then it benefits us directly. In some courses, placements are very bad.
Overall, infrastructure is not that good. Classrooms and libraries are okay. Hostel facilities are also okay. Canteen food is bad. Various sports and games are available. Medical facilities are okay. There is no ragging for hostel boys, especially for 1st years (CCTV cameras are everywhere).
Few teachers might help students, but most of them are not that good. Teaching is not effective. It’s better to study on their own. Course curriculum is okay (not all subjects are needed in the future). Semester exams are very difficult. Guarding is strict. Teachers are quite strict.
The highest salary package offered was 14 LPA and the average salary package offered was 4 LPA-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies: Amazon, Microsoft, Google, TCS, IBM, etc. A very small percentage of students got internships (not that much needed). In terms of internships, most students take opportunities from lower-tier companies just for the experience.
Canteen provides hygienic food. Spacious and well ventilated classrooms. Equipped with LCD projectors, audiovisual aids, and smart boards for interactive learning. Modern equipment and software for hands on training. Well maintained workstations for each student.
The faculty members of the civil engineering department are highly qualified, holding postgraduate and doctoral degrees from reputed institutions. They are approachable, supportive, and encourage students to clarify doubts both during and after class hours. The teaching methodology combines theoretical lectures, practical sessions, case studies, and project based learning
In the B.Tech course, 72% of students are successfully placed during the campus recruitment drive. The highest package offered is 8.5 LPA, the lowest package offered is 3.2 LPA, and the average package is 5.4 LPA. Graduates from this course are placed in various positions such as Graduate Engineer Trainee
The college is fully residential campus with state-of-the-art infrastructure, including well-equipped laboratories, modern classrooms, a gymnasium, a swimming pool, various sports grounds, and campus-wide internet connectivity. The labs and classrooms are good.
The faculty is really cooperative. They are highly qualified with a large majority holding PhD and are known for their strong industry experience. They have diverse teaching methodologies and focus on keeping the curriculum updated with current industry requirements.
As for the package and everything the students get a very good and satisfactory package. Top recruitment companies in BUTS are Accenture, Cognizant, EY, HSBC, Yes Bank, and KPMG. The highest package offered to CS IT students at is 6 LPA.
The facility is very good. The academic block is beautiful, consisting of 4 lecture theatres and a lot of classrooms. Some labs are also present. A big canteen includes a kitchen and a Nescafe shop. There is also a big auditorium in the basement. There is a football and cricket ground with floodlights. Other sports facilities are also available
Teachers are well qualified. They have doctorates and master's degrees in several fields. The exams are conducted every month (quizzes, mid-semester, and final exams). Labs are conducted weekly and have evaluative components also. Semester exams are very tough and the average is very low
More than 80% of students got placed. A lot of companies recruit students, including Microsoft, Google, Rubric, Dell, Deloitte, Oracle, Adobe, Nestle, etc. Top roles include software developer, analyst, app developer, product management, etc.
The quality of facilities in my hostel is good. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is average. Facilities and infrastructure of the college, like Wi-Fi, classrooms, and library, are also very good. It also has medical facilities, sports, and other facilities.
Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They are highly qualified and very friendly. They make students industry-ready. The college semesters are not very difficult because teachers are very supportive. The pass percentage of the college is 90.
Above 70% of students get placed in my batch. The highest package offered is 11 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package in my course is 8–9 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, Tata, Tech Mahindra, Accenture, etc.
Ethernet connectivity is available in hostel rooms and the library (1 Gbps speed), with Wi-Fi throughout the hostel and academic block, and in the library (100 Mbps). The food can be considered fair, with the menu undergoing slight changes every two months. For the mechanical department, we have dedicated labs, workshops, and sandbox areas.
The pass percentage should be well over 80%. Exams can be considered difficult and hectic, especially the midterms. Teachers are very knowledgeable, and I believe what we are taught is largely relevant to the industry. The course doesn't feel outdated, and students have benefited from industry training through internship programs
The better part is that over 80% of students find placements. The lowest salary would be around 8 LPA, while the highest could exceed 20 LPA, with the average being 12 LPA. Top recruiters include Mercedes, L&T, and BHEL from the mechanical stream, and students can also choose to pursue non-teaching roles, which many do.
