Apart from hygienic food, the hostel provides 24x7 Wi-Fi facilities and recreational facilities such as a TV room, indoor games, gym, etc. The hostel has its live-in warden, and in view of the limited hostel accommodation; candidates should note that the grant of admission to a program of study in the College does not ensure allotment of hostel accommodation and that the accommodation will be offered to the eligible applicants subject to availability.

The college has a health center with a student first aid facility. Medical Practitioner is available MoU with a multi-specialty hospital. First aid boxes are available in all departments and on college buses. On-call ambulance facility.

The college has a Gym facility for the students. A separate gymnasium for both girls and boys is available to ensure the fitness of the students.

The college has a library facility for all students.

The institution has well-equipped sports facilities to conduct Zonal Level and State level tournaments Sports, outdoor and indoor games, gymnasium, auditorium, NSS, NCC, cultural activities, public speaking, communication skills development, yoga, health, and hygiene, etc. sports facilities comprising of a stadium, playgrounds, etc. where Zonal Level and State Level tournaments have been conducted. The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students. A large Dining Hall with a capacity of 1,000 members to dine at the same time enables all students and staff to have lunch and breakfast. A large modern kitchen with steam cooking is attached to the mess hall. Staff members and students (hostel students) are provided tea, and snacks every day. Special care is taken to provide quality and hygienic food to students. A food committee is responsible for monitoring the operations of the mess and for implementing and reviewing the mess policy.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college operates buses from different locations in Chennai, Thiruvallur, Kanchipuram, Guduvancheri, Arakkonam, and Chennai suburbs to help the students to reach the campus safely in time. Students willing to avail of private transport can make use of frequent MTC bus services to the college.

The college alumni association was formed with the objective of having a forum for past students of SKR Engineering College, Chennai. Over the years, the association has associated itself with the college in every possible event and has been a part of the activity.
