SRM Valliammai Engineering College boasts good campus connectivity, with easy access to public transportation and being situated close to the main road, making it readily reachable from various parts of Chennai; the campus itself is well-maintained and offers essential facilities like a hospital, food services, and a strong Wi-fi network, Contributing to a convenient campus life experience. The college provides good hostel facilities and hospitality with healthy and hygienic food for our hostel students. The calm and beautiful environment is conductive for studies, suitable for walkers to have a pleasant walk on the well-laid pavements under the natural avenues and lawns. There are two separate hostels for boys and girls students accommodating about 1200 students. All the hostels have the necessary infrastructure and modern kitchens. The inmates are provided with a cot, a chair and a table.

Infrastructure: We conduct a college fest every year and conduct the teach fest in the name of EMERGE. Many foreign author's books are available in our library and daily newspapers, Current Affair. Many of the students use our library.
