St Francis Institute of Management and Research offers various facilities and infrastructure to the students and faculty. The SFIMAR Mumbai campus is Wi-Fi enabled and has a well-equipped IT centre, library, fitness centre, health centre, and cafeteria. The SFIMAR Mumbai offers air-conditioned classrooms, auditorium, seminar hall, and conference rooms.
The SFIMAR Mumbai hostel facilities are offered for both boys and girls, with lockers and 24X7 internet access. The SFIMAR Mumbai sports facilities provide for indoor and outdoor games, and a guest house for visiting faculty and student family members. The SFIMAR Mumbai has an active alumni association and conducts various cultural and academic events.
The SFIMAR Mumbai boys' hostel is a well-furnished hostel building equipped with all the modern amenities for the outstation students. It provides 24X7 high-speed wireless LAN connections. The institute has also provided lockers for all the students to keep their valuables and baggage.
The SFIMAR Mumbai girls hostel has a well-furnished building equipped with all the modern amenities such as drinking water, mess, and recreational facilities.
SFIMAR Mumbai has a health center with a first aid facility for the students. The college provides medical support to the students.
The SFIMAR Mumbai has a well-equipped fitness Centre available on the campus with the latest modern equipment. Students are provided enough opportunities to build on their physical fitness and embark on a healthier path.
The SFIMAR Mumbai has bibliographic details of library documents that can be accessed through OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) from any of the workstations (computer terminals) available on the campus through wi-fi.
The college has SFIMAR Mumbai sports facilities for all students. Replenishing refreshing energy into students, a range of facilities are available for indoor and outdoor games on the campus. Encouraging the spirit of sportsmanship, a slew of annual competitions are conducted for sports and cultural activities on vastly spread playgrounds.
The college has a cafeteria serving a broad selection of items and maintains a high level of hygiene is functioning inside the campus for providing quality catering facilities for the students and staff at moderate rates. The cafeteria specializes in Indian and Chinese cuisines. It also provides Mess facilities to hostel students. The cafeteria is operational till 10 pm for hostel students.
The SFIMAR Mumbai has an acoustically designed air-conditioned auditorium that has a seating capacity of 600 for hosting various cultural activities and functions.
The campus is wi-fi enabled giving the students 24X7 access to internet facilities within the entire campus. Students can also access the Institute’s intranet within the campus which helps them in completing their assignments, research projects, and presentations on time.
The college classrooms are air-conditioned and very spacious. They are ergonomically designed for participative learning and are equipped with all the necessary audio-visual facilities such as microphones, LCD projectors, speakers, etc. The Computer System is available in each of the classrooms and is effectively used as a teaching aid. The institute also hosts specially designed tutorial rooms for conducting debates and discussions.
The SFIMAR Mumbai has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students. The SFIMAR Mumbai labs are updated and maintained.
Malay club is the perfect platform to showcase Fine Arts & Performing Arts. Fine arts exhibit and express creativity amongst students, which is a group competition, and performing arts cater to individual talents. It includes group competitions such as ‘Best Out of Waste’, ‘Act of Sand’, and ‘Solo Talent’.
Green Club
is a dynamic body of the St. Francis Institute of Management & Research. SFIMAR has a wonderful lush green campus and Green Club members along with the maintenance department manage the green activity. In July 2018 College completed its first round of plantation drive for the year, with the help of Green Yatra, a Mumbai-based NGO. Faculty and staff members of Green Club and students from PGDM participated in the program. Govt of Maharashtra initiated a plantation drive in 2018 all over the state. The hydroponic system is initiated in SFIMAR, which is under a first-round trial run with a motive to develop entrepreneurial activity in urban farming. On successful completion, this will be taken further to underprivileged women who can take it up as their livelihood.
ISR Abhimaan Club
SFIMAR carries out its Institute Social Responsibility (ISR) activities through the social club ‘ABHIMAAN’ and its Lifelong Learning and Extension Projects under the Department of Lifelong Learning and Extension (DLLE), Mumbai University. The Institute is guided by the spirit of St. Francis of Assisi, who is the Patron Saint of Ecology for his love for the nature and environment. The Institute also carries out the ethos ‘Service through Enterprise’ of its Founders – the Society of the Congregation of Franciscan Brothers, which has a strong societal-responsibility dimension in what it does.
The SFIMAR Mumbai conducts various co-curricular activities in which students can participate. The college's infrastructural facilities provide support to students for organizing many extracurricular activities inside the campus.
The Institute is working throughout the year to inculcate employable and life skills through training, placement drives, and arranging guest lectures by prominent personalities. Guest Lectures and Seminars also make the students aware of new career opportunities. Moreover, to keep it a two-way process, the students also give feedback related to guest lectures and other academic and non-academic events. Guest lectures are organized frequently with subject experts from the industry so that the students and Faculty get a practical exposure of the industry and the market. Regular Guest lectures are also conducted by Corporate Experts on Resume Writing and Dressing Sense.
The college also provides Training and Placement opportunities for all the students.
