Good morning, with a NEET PG rank of 130452 and BC-A category in Andhra Pradesh, your chances for a paraclinical seat (like MD Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine) depend on a few key factors:

What We Know from 2025 Data

BC-A reservation in AP gives you a significant advantage in state quota counselling.

Paraclinical branches generally have lower cutoff ranks compared to clinical ones.

Government colleges in AP are highly competitive, but private colleges may offer seats at this rank under state quota or management quota.

Your Chances by Branch (Estimated)

Branch                   Chance in Govt Colleges    Chance in Private Colleges

MD Pathology            Very unlikely                            Possible (state quota)

MD Microbiology          Unlikely                                  Possible

MD Pharmacology        Unlikely                                 Possible

MD Forensic Medicine       Rare                                Possible

MD Community Medicine Very rare                         Possible

These are tentative estimates based on previous years’ closing ranks and current seat matrix trends2.

What You Should Do

Register for AP State Counselling via Dr. YSR University of Health Sciences.

Fill choices wisely: Include private colleges offering paraclinical branches.

Consider management quota if budget allows—some seats may be available even at higher ranks.

Keep documents ready: NEET PG scorecard, BC-A certificate, MBBS degree, internship completion, etc.

Good afternoon, with a NEET PG AIR of 9011, and General category, you still have solid chances of getting a clinical seat in government colleges across several other states under the All India Quota (AIQ).

Hey:)

With 414 NEET PG (UR), getting MS orthopedics in a government college is very unlikely ,since cutoffs usually close much earlier. You might still have a chance in DNB ortho if your AIR is on the stronger side, but its not guaranteed. The safer and more realistic option is through private or deemed colleges, where orthopedics seat extend to much lower ranks, though fees will be higher around 30-40 lakhs depending on the college. If you're flexible, you can explore DNB programs at reputed hospitals, ehich offers good recognition and exposure eith comparatively lower costs.

Overall your chances depend on your exact AIR, and your willingness towards private/deemed colleges.

All the best!

Hello

If you have a NEET PG rank around 25,000 and scored about 500 marks, you can still find MS seats in some Gynecology colleges. The exact college depends on the state and category you belong to. Reserved categories like ST may have better chances because of lower cutoffs. It’s best to check official counseling websites for the latest seat details. Staying updated will help you choose the right college smoothly.

  • NEET PG counselling is conducted in two levels: MCC All India Quota (50%) and State Quota (50%).
  • MCC Counselling: Covers all central institutes, deemed universities, ESIC, and AFMS. Registration is online at mcc.nic.in.

For Rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Mop-up Round, and Stray Vacancy.

Documents you needed: NEET PG Admit Card, Rank Letter, MBBS Marksheets, Internship Certificate, State Registration, Category Certificate (if applicable).

Thank you and all the best!

With an AIR 9011 in NEET PG 2025, you stand a fair chance of getting MS Orthopaedics in some deemed universities, private colleges, and a few state quota seats depending on location. Other good options around your rank include MD Anesthesiology, Psychiatry, Pediatrics, Dermatology, and Obstetrics & Gynaecology in selected colleges. Top branches like Medicine and Radiology may be tough at this rank, but you can target reputed private or state institutes. Counselling strategy and state preference will play a key role in your final seat. Register for MCC AIQ and state counselling to maximize your chances.

Hello Aspirant,

NEET PG All India Quota (AIQ) college prediction tools help you estimate which MD/MS/DNB seats you might get. You input your NEET PG rank, category, and preferred courses . The predictor then analyzes past years' cut-off trends for AIQ seats in government colleges, central universities, and deemed universities.

Higher ranks (lower numbers) offer better chances for clinical branches like Radiology, Medicine, and Orthopaedics. Lower ranks might lead to non-clinical branches or private/deemed universities, often with higher fees. These tools provide a good guideline , but final allotment depends on counselling.

Hello Aspirant,

NEET PG college prediction tools help you estimate which MD/MS/DNB colleges and specialties you might get based on your NEET PG rank . They use past years' cut-offs , your category , and domicile state to show likely options. Factors like exam difficulty and seat availability also influence actual admissions. These tools are for guidance, not guarantees.

Hello Aspirant,

With a NEET PG All India Rank (AIR) of 19824 in the General category, securing a clinical course like Radiology, General Medicine, Dermatology, Pediatrics, or Orthopaedics in a top government medical college will be very challenging . These branches typically have much higher cut-offs.

However, you still have good chances for para-clinical or non-clinical branches such as:

  • Pathology

  • Community Medicine (PSM)

  • Microbiology

  • Biochemistry

  • Forensic Medicine

  • Physiology

You might also find options in some clinical branches like Anaesthesiology, ENT, or Ophthalmology in less competitive government colleges or through later counselling rounds (Mop-Up/Stray Vacancy) if seats remain. Using an online college predictor tool and closely monitoring the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) website for counselling schedules and seat matrix updates is highly recommended.
