With a NEET PG rank of around 9500 in General Category, chances in Delhi colleges are limited but still possible in certain clinical and para-clinical branches. Top clinical courses like MD Medicine, Pediatrics, Radiology, and Dermatology in Delhi are highly competitive and usually close by ranks below 3000–4000. At 9500, it’s difficult to expect these. However, you can definitely target some branches like MD Pharmacology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Forensic Medicine, Anatomy, Physiology, Community Medicine, and Pathology in Delhi medical colleges under All India Quota. Sometimes seats in these subjects remain vacant till later rounds. If you specifically want a clinical branch in Delhi, options will be very limited, but if you expand to para-clinical and pre-clinical, you stand a good chance. My suggestion would be to keep Delhi as preference but also fill options from nearby states like Haryana, UP, and Rajasthan to improve your chances of getting a clinical seat. Always wait for mop-up and stray vacancy rounds because seats sometimes convert at the last moment.

Your NEET PG rank is quite decent. Looking at the previous years’ cut-offs, MD General Medicine under All India Quota in the open category is a bit tough at this rank, because this branch usually closes at a much higher rank. However, chances can vary depending on this year’s seat matrix, counselling rounds, and state quota options. I would suggest you to keep General Medicine as a preference, but also fill other good clinical branches where your chances are stronger. In later rounds or mop-up, some movement is always possible. Keep an eye on both All India and state counselling to maximize your options.

If you pursue CUET PG in Food Science and Technology, you’ll study food processing, safety, and quality control. However, this course doesn’t directly qualify you to become a nutritionist. To become a certified nutritionist, it’s better to do a PG in Nutrition & Dietetics or Food & Nutrition. These programs focus on human health, diet planning, and clinical nutrition. You can shift later, but it may require additional qualifications.

Hello Hariharan

With a rank of 76553 in NEET PG, your chances of getting a PG seat in a government college are very low because the cutoff ranks for unreserved category goes to 40,000 to 50,000 at max.

Still, you can try for these departments if the cutoff goes extremely low:

1. Anatomy
2. Physiology
3. Biochemistry
4. Microbiology
5. Pharmacology
6. Forensic Medicine
7. Community Medicine

You have better chances at private or deemed universities at your rank.

Thank You!!!

Hello Aspirant,

If you do not satisfactory results from AIEEA-PG, it does not lead to direct admission to M.Sc. Agronomy under management or payment quota in ANGRAU, Bapatla; as admission is conducted based only on ICAR AIEEA-PG or its own entrance procedure (if applicable). AGRAU is a government agricultural universities, therefore there are no management seats like private colleges. But you can :

  • Apply next time and improve your preparation
  • Look into other state agricultural universities or deemed universities which offer M.Sc. Agronomy with their own admission criteria.
  • Look into private agricultural colleges affiliated to state universities as they may offer limited payment based seats.

Good afternoon ,yes, in many states, you can pursue your PG (MD/MS/DNB) even if you're under a bond service obligation but the rules vary by state. Here's a breakdown based on the latest guidelines:

Three Possible Scenarios:

Bond Is Postponed

Some states allow you to defer the bond service if you get a PG seat.

You’ll complete the bond after finishing PG.

Example: Karnataka and Tamil Nadu often allow postponement.

Bond Is Waived If PG Is in Same State

In states like Rajasthan, if you pursue PG in the same state, the MBBS bond may be waived.

But you’ll sign a new PG bond after MD/MS.

Bond Must Be Completed First

States like Assam or Tripura may require you to complete MBBS bond service before joining PG.

Otherwise, you must pay the penalty (25–50 lakh depending on the state).

Rajasthan-Specific Rule (Your Case)

Bond Duration: 5 years after MBBS/BAMS

Penalty: 25 lakh

PG Admission: If you get PG in Rajasthan, the bond may be adjusted or postponed

If you go to another state for PG, you may be asked to pay the penalty or get special permission

You Should Do

Check your bond agreement—look for clauses about PG admission.

Contact the Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Rajasthan for clarification.

If planning PG in another state, ask if you can:

Postpone the bond

Transfer the bond obligation

Pay the penalty and exit

If your goal is to crack the CUET PG exam for M.Com admission, the first step is to understand the syllabus and exam pattern in detail. CUET PG for commerce typically includes sections on Accounting, Business Laws, Economics, Business Mathematics, and General Knowledge related to commerce and finance. Start by collecting authentic study material from reputed publishers or CUET-specific guidebooks. Create a study timetable that divides your preparation into phases—first, cover the syllabus completely; then, move on to practicing previous years’ papers; finally, focus on mock tests. Practice is extremely important because CUET is a competitive exam, and accuracy as well as speed will matter. Since M.Com admission is also about securing a seat in a good college, aim to score higher than the cut-off range of your preferred universities.

Thank you!
