Hy,
With a CRL rank of 152,358 in the general category, it may be challenging to secure admission in competitive branches like IT, ECE, or EEE at UIET Chandigarh. Typically, these branches have higher cutoff ranks due to their popularity. It’s advisable to check the previous years’ cutoff trends for a more accurate assessment and consider other colleges or branches where you might have a better chance of admission.
Hy,
The cut-off marks for UIET (University Institute of Engineering and Technology) at Kurukshetra University can fluctuate from year to year based on various factors, including:
Number of Applicants : An increase in the number of students applying for a particular course can lead to higher cut-off marks.
Difficulty Level of the Entrance Exam : If the exam is perceived as easier or harder, it can affect the cut-off.
Availability of Seats : The number of seats available in each program can influence cut-off trends. Fewer seats may result in higher cut-offs.
Academic Performance Trends : Overall performance of applicants in the entrance exam or qualifying exams can impact cut-off trends.
Increase : Typically, cut-off marks may increase if there is high demand and competition for the course. This is often seen in popular programs or in years with a large number of high-scoring applicants.
Decrease : Conversely, cut-offs may decrease if there is less competition, fewer applicants, or if the difficulty of the entrance exam was higher.
Hello Aspirant,
Yes, the college that you have chosen is good in terms of return on investment and considering you have chosen mechanical in this college. So one thing keep in mind that you should be preparing for non core domain like data analytics and data science because not all will get placed in the core companies.
However in other colleges there are certain factors such as number of candidates appearing in the examination, previous year cutoffs and difficulty level of the paper which determines the cut offs.
Hello Deepak,
As you belong to the obc category and your JEE mains is above 2L let me tell you that you can go for the state government colleges where seperate counselling is held for the state colleges.
In the state colleges you have good chances to get into a decent college but through josaa it is tough to get NITs/IIITs/GFTIs . If you can wait till csab round then you can go for colleges like NIT Mizoram, NIT Meghalaya, NIT Srinagar, NIT Agartala, NIT Puducherry and in GFTIs like Gurughasidas Vishwavidyalaya, BIT Mesra.
Hii
You are not eligible for uiet. Because last rank of these college is 150000 in home state.
I give some good college of name.
Name of the College | Fee |

Swami Vivekanand Institute of Engineering & Technology - Chandigarh | Rs. 89,000 Per Annum |

you should have AIR upto 55000 to get a good stream at UIET, Chandigarh till last round of counselling (based on last year's cutoff if you belong to general category)
hello aspirant,
With the above mentioned percentile for OBC-NCL female candidate, your Overall predicted rank will be around 194370 - 218500 (CRL) and your category )OBC) rank can be around 72K-75K. With this rank range you will not get any of the NIT Colleges as the percentile and rank is too low for the same. But, however, you can get some good colleges (Semi-government) colleges under this rank. YES, you can get YMCA faridabad and UIET Kurukshetra under this rank range.
You can also get the following below mentioned colleges with this rank :
Please note that the above mentioned prediction of colleges is based on the previous year JEE mains Cutoff and the actual rank may vary.

With reference to your above mentioned query, i would like to tell you that according to the previous years cut off rank for isro and drdo, you must have a gate rank below 150 to get a interview call from these esteemed psus. For both of the psus you must be among one of the top ranked students.
And to describe further, The GATE score for shortlisting the candidates for metallurgical Stream was 700 in previous years. It's still the prediction as the cutoff ranks and marks keeps varying according to the previous year cutoff.

Hi,
University Institute of Engineering and Technology is the department of engineering and technology of Punjab University, Chandigarh which is recognized as Tier-1 institute by NIRF .UIET does not have a huge quota advantage for NCL. Also note there is no OBC but a BC quota that should be checked according to Chandigarh Admissions JAC and Panjab University Norms
Last year’s opening rank for CSE BC Quota was: 36440 and Closing Rank was: 57477.So in accordance to your rank which is 37507 , there are chances of getting this respective college. For more information refer to

Likes Our college provides good Wi-Fi facility and fully air-conditioned labs with good facilities of computers. Hostels are also great and the quality of food available in the mess and canteen is awesome Dislikes They are good, but the food available in the hostel mess is not much good.
The faculty members of the campus are very supportive and the canteen is also available for the students with good staff. Infrastructure for the students is best because it provides all the basic faculty members like Wi-Fi, labs, libraries, reading rooms, etc. for the students.
College infrastructure is not so much well maintained.Benches are good for sitting but some lab equipments are not available, cleaning is also not done on regular basis.Classrooms are non smart with fan non ac.
