No, it is not any typing error. Sometimes the closing cutoff for even branches like Computer Science can go till 6 to 7 lakhs. This is because, there are certain seats reserved for management quota. Usually students who have not secured good marks claim under management quota. Another factor is that, in the last rounds of counselling, sometimes the cutoff can get relaxed.

But this does not mean that all those who secure rank around 6 lakhs can get CS. On the basis of purely merit, it is not possible.

Between uiet kurukshetra and Chandigarh Uiet Kurukshetra is better than chandigarh as it has good placement, infrastructure ,faculties and better environment.If you work hard you can get a good placement in Uiet Kurukshetra as it is comparitively better.

If you want to get admission in the mentioned college then you have to obtain a rank less than closing rank to get a seat.If you obtain a rank which is less than the closing rank then you can get admission in Kurukshetra University.

Hi aspirant, since you have got 131021 general rank in JEE Mains and you also do not posses the state quota than also I can assure you that you won't get any difficulties while taking admissiin in UIET, Chandigarh and CCET, Chandigarh for sure you will surely get any of both the colleges on behalf of the rank you have got.

Dear Aspirant as per placement records, hostel Lifestyle, faculty, discipline and course curriculum dcrust is better than mdu UIET. The only positive feedback about mdu is its great infrastructure and huge campus.

But it's better to try some other universities like RTU (Rajasthan technical University). As far as the technical knowledge is considered, the dcrust has proven better than MDU.

The best thing to do is find out which college and course you are more interested in and then place them based on your priority . If you are interested in Biotechnology more than ECE than place the option with biotechnology above the ECE branch option and vice-versa. Choice filling totally depends on your priority so research about your interests well and then choose wisely.

According to your rank in jee mains and considering your college and the branch that you want to take ,you will definitely get a seat in this college and coming to your priority question it doesn't matter that your father is in service or it is ex service men , both will be given priority

As per for the personal experiences of students who have studied there,most of them have a negative opinion about the college education system.The process checking of exam papers is also not good there.So its better not to opt for MDU.

Keep MDU at the last option and do find some good engineering college for yourself.
