Yes there are chances of getting CSE branch in UIET KUK with this rank. But you will have to wait for physical counseling that are held at every college individually for filling of vacant seats left. Not forget to apply for those counselling as well as government counselling

As per your rank and previous year cutoff, the colleges you will get as per your rank are:-

UIET - University Institute of Engineering and Technology, Panjab University in B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering in 3rd or 4th round of counselling. Closing rank for UIET in CSE is 10,073 in 4th round of counselling last year.

If you got IT branch and confirm for the same and book the seat, then you can't go in spot round.

Well dear,If you come in the OBC list of the central government or say your OBC NCL certificate is issued by the central government then you are completely OBC-NCL,If for example you are issued OBC only in Bihar,then you will come in this category only in Bihar and for rest of the states you will be general.

Both Chandigarh College of Engineering and Technology as well as University Institute Of Engineering and Technology, Panjab University offers admission through JEE mains score.
And if you belong to OBC category and if you have valid certificates then yes you can surely take advantage of it.

In my case i prefer computer science seat more than Electronics seat.
To be frank both are good branches and if you are interested in writing gate exam in future I prefer to go to ECE or if i want to pursue my career in coding field i will go to CSE side.
So it is you who have to decide what to do i can only suggest you the best option.
