Hello Luv

As you have got 96.35 percentile in MHTCET in open category, but you have not specified any particular branch you want to apply in so I cant give you specific answers but yeah talking in general,  you have decent Marks but getting VIT might be tough but yes you can get other decent college in pune according to your percentile and rank.

Hello Sameer,

Congratulations on securing 95%ile in MHTCET.

I would suggest you go through the last year cutoffs of all the rounds of CAP Process on the following link. Here you can get an idea of college & branch based on your marks.

https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/mht-cet-cutoff (For all rounds)

Make sure you look for proper cutoffs according to Quota (All will be state level as VIT is autonomous or TFWS, etc), category (in your case Open).

Best of Luck!

Dear candidate....,

Well, basing upon your rank in JEE MAINS, it may be difficult for you to get admission into VIT Pune in your desired branch. But still you can give it a try at the time of counseling and since you're a resident of Maharashtra, you have higher chances of getting admission.

Feel free to ask your queries.......

All the best:)

Hello Aspirant
Your rank is very high . As per previous cut off
You can't get admission in Vishwakarma institute of technology , Pune .
Try for another college .
For another college please follow the below link .

Thanks

Hello Suhas,

It is difficult to get admission in the Vishwakarma Institute of Technology(VIT), Pune based on your MHT-CET marks as cut-offs are high.

You can try for admission at Maharashtra Institute of Technology(MIT), Pune. But here also chances are low. But still, you can try as you belong to SC Category.

Try applying for admissions in more engineering colleges in Pune.

You can also use college predictor(which predicts colleges based on your rank): https://www.careers360.com/mht-cet-college-predictor

Hello!

That's an good percentile there are chances that you may get in  but have patience and be confident as you have got good marks and if u wanna it beanch then do apply for the same but in different round you may face problem but have patience you can get admission into it.

All the best..

the placement in both these colleges is pretty average. But if you are comparing these colleges, then VIT Pune has an edge over Walchand College of Engineering. VIT Pune's CS branch is pretty diverse and qualified. Students have received higher packages in comparison to Walchand College. So, if you have a choice, go for VIT Pune.

As per your percentile and previous year cutoff, the colleges you get are:-

Vishkarma institute of technology Pune in 3 or 4 round of counselling

MIT Academy Pune

SCOE Pune
