Chances of getting a good college in support spot round of counselling cannot be determined by your rank. Basically you can only get a good college in spot counselling if there are few vacant seats left. I would suggest you to freeze a seat in 3rd round of counselling. You may get VIVEKANANDA INSTITUTE OF PROFESSIONAL STUDIES  or may not

First thing first, DON'T go by the college name..all colleges give you an IPU degree.Rather go as per your interest else 4 years will be a shear wastage of time. You do hold the chance to get vips.
Explore your interests, check out for yourself which field interests you more.
As far as the placements are concerned; 3.25lpa is an average package any IPUite can easily grab ,irrespective of the stream...

VIPS is among the top colleges of IPU and takes in a lot of students. It has both morning and evening shift. Usually classes begin around 9:00 am and may go on maximum till 3 for the morning shift. Timings may vary according to your timetable for the respective years.

Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies Pitampura Delhi is one of the best private colleges in Delhi. You might not be very sure to get a seat guaranteed in VIPS sliding round because it seems very unpredictable at times. However, never lose hope and pray for the best as cutoff sometimes seems to rise at an unexpectedly higher level than previous years.

Placements : The placement rate is really good for BCA at VIPS, to be accurate in the 2019 batch the numbers are like following -

WIPRO - 58 students

CONCENTRIX - 52 students

CAPGEMINI- 21 students

DELOITTE - 30 students

These are out of 300 students (approximately), and many students choose to go for further studies thus these numbers suggest how excellent the placement rate is for BCA at VIPS.

Infrastructure : Infrastructure is the highlight of this college for fully air conditioned buildings, the classrooms and labs are very well-equipped. Elevators are also working. College does provide free Wi-Fi but it's limited and very slow. There is a big football ground and a separate volleyball ground, the only drawback in the infrastructure is there's no basketball court, which might be very important to some students. Also, in my knowledge the college doesn't provide hostel facilities. In-campus Canteen isn't the best but there are many food stalls just outside the college which are really good.

Faculty : Faculty is that aspect of the VSIT department in VIPS which has no drawbacks at all. The teachers are qualified, knowledgeable and most importantly very friendly, helpful and cheerful. The faculty cares about not only the academic but the overall development of each and every student. Being in the IT field, personal/side projects are very important and the faculty understands that very well.

Yes,you can change your preference before sliding round as well but make sure before the last date... As if you wish to change it after last date is gone.. You CAN'T.. But still after sliding round you can go for spot counselling in which you can change or upgrade your college... However it is a risky process but still you can go for it. .

Yes, although IP university doesn't consider reservation for once category but having around 3k rank might fetch you a seat in VIPS college..  or else you can fill your preference for evening shift in VIPS college as the cutoffs are comparatively less and believe me the ambience in evening shift is better than that in morning shift as it doesn't have management quota students. .anyways

The placement percentage of this college is good  as per observed in the past placement records many students get placed but you can expect an average package of only  1.5 to 2.5 lacs per annum but if you have good skills and you are good in academic and you have a mark sheet with great scores then you can expect an average package of 3.5 to 4.5 lacs per annum and yes 4.5  to 5  lacs is highest package offered per annum if you want a higher package then you can try for off College placements.
