Congratulation! Your rank in IPU CET for B.Com (Hons.) is quite well. But sorry to say you may not get a seat in Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS) as last year closing rank was 1530. But still there are other good college you may get with this rank are mentioned below:

• Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies, Rohini 
  
• Jagannath International Management School, Kalkaji
• Institute of Innovation in Technology and Management, Janak Puri

But still you may get VIPS if there is vacancy of seats in spot round.

Its okay youe previous seat will be retained in the next round if you have placed VIPS on top so in the nest round your seat will be retained.

In next round you can get a college which you have placed above VIPS,next round is supposed to be third round but due to delay it may be sliding round and spot round is always done in the end.

Congratulation! Your rank in IPU CET for BA(JMC) is great. Considering the last year's cutoff there is tough chance for you to get admission in  Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies even in Second Shift as the closing rank was 321 in GNGNO ( Outside Delhi General ) category which is very close to your rank. Also there is very less chance of having vacancy in spot round. With this rank there many other top college affiliated to GGSIPU you can get which are listed below:

I am very sorry to inform you that the students who take admission by round one or two and also pay their academic fees are not eligible for the spot round at IP University. So make sure you make the right decision.

Also, the seats of VIPS are almost full so it's really hard to get a seat there in spot round.

Hello there. Since both the college are under the same administration so their is not much for any difference.  But still the fact is that Maharaja Agrasen college is considered to be the best college among all the college of IP university. So you should prefer that.

Congratulation! Your rank in IPU CET for BBA is great. Considering the last year's cutoff and your rank you may get Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS) in 2nd Shift. Closing rank for VIPS 1st shift last year was 1008. But some other good colleges you may get with this rank in 1st Shift are:

• Jagannath International Management School, Vasant Kunj 
  
• Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Management Studies, Rohini 

But I would suggest you to take admission in Maharaja Surajmal Institute in 2nd Shift

Thats a fine rank but getting vips is a bit not possible at thistrank itiis actuallyt difficult to get it but still you must try it and give an attempt to it atleast as it may be possible that you may get it in other rounds of counselling as well. So just wait and good luck!

The IP university organises a centralized system for placement in their college so almost the same companies visit all the colleges or call the students at a commonplace.

Even though the placements of all the colleges are not the same due to the quality of students sitting in the placements. This makes the difference.

Therefore I will suggest you go to the best college possible by your rank.

Hi Sam,

The talks about VIPS separating from IPU has been since from a long time now. 

VIPS was trying to get NAAC certification from a very long time & recently it got ‘A’ certificate for the same.

Vivekananda Institute Of Professional Studies was set to withdraw their affiliation from GGSIPU this year, but that has been put on hold.

VIPS will become an autonomous university in 2020 and admissions will be taken through CLAT and other National Entrance Exams.
