All the best for your future.

Hello Siddharth. You mentioned  your rank obtained in IPU CET (BBA) 2021 exam and want to know whether you have any chance to get admission to Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies, Delhi. Your profile says you come from Uttar Pradesh and since you didn't mention your caste, I assume you belong to General category.

In 2019, IPU CET Cutoff Rank prescribed for admission to BBA at VIPS, Delhi were 980 (for General- Outside Home State) and 1216 (for General- Home State).

As you have secured a rank of 780, you have good chance to get admission to BBA at VIPS, Delhi (if you belong to General category).

If you belong to any other caste then kindly comment down in the comment box.

I hope this answer is enough to answer your query.

Thank you and good luck!

Dear aspirant,

It depends on a major factor your category. If you belongs to General category, your chances are quite less. But if you belong to either OBC or SC/ST then your chances are high. Iam assuming that you belongs to General category and for you I must say chances are less. Iam attaching last years cut off for general category for your help. The column with heading GNGND belongs to one whose domicile state or home state is Delhi and belongs to General category.

Hopefully this will help you.
Thank you.

hii

you have a respectable position in IPU CET BA(JMC) and as indicated by your position you have a great possibility in VIPS by the sliding round. Last year the end rank was 381 for second change in VIPS and 339 for first shift for an Outside Delhi General. So my guidance for you is use skim alternative as you might wind up with VIPS in the event that you have given it higher need in your decision filling.

Hey Aspirant!

The rank that you have secured is quite low for you to secure a seat in VIPs. You can try for other private institutes or appear for CLAT once again.

Hope this helped you.

All the best!

Hi

I’m sorry I don’t think you’ll be able to get vips with this rank.I think you might get maims which is a really good option in comparison to iimt.
also you can try for vips in any quota but the chances are rare.

All the best!

Hey,

Last year i.e. in 2020, the cut off in round 2 for VIPS was (Delhi General):

BA-LLB : Min Rank - 2803 Max Rank - 12868

BBA-LLB : Min Rank - 2618 Max Rank - 12849

Last year i.e. in 2020, the cut off in round 3 for VIPS was (Delhi General):

BA-LLB : Min Rank - 2803 Max Rank - 14175

BBA- LLB : Min Rank - 2618 Max Rank - 13828

Make sure you do the choice filling carefully as it it very important in getting your desired college.

The cut off for round 1 for this year for VIPS is (Delhi General) :

BA-LLB : Min Rank - 505 Max Rank - 10695

BBA-LLB : Min Rank - 966 Max Rank - 11601

So, we can say that there are chances that you may get VIPS in second or third round of counselling if you belong to DELHI GENERAL category. If you are from outside Delhi (general category) it is difficult.

Good Luck!

Hello,

You haven't mentioned the course in which you are seeking admission and your home state. Based on the information available in your profile we consider that you are seeking admission to Under Graduate course from Delhi. Last year the cut was as follows for admission to UG courses in Vivekanand Institute of Professional Studies under General category

  • BA LLB: 14175
  • BBA LLB: 13828

This was the cut off in round 3 counselling. Considering the previous year cut off you do not have chances of getting seat in the preferred institute. However, Cut off changes every year it may increase or decrease depending on total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. To check the previous year cut off click on the link given below

To know the list of colleges in which you have chances of getting seat you may use our CLAT college predictor tool

https://law.careers360.com/clat-college-predictor?utm_source=qna

Hello,

No, you cannot get admission in VIPS with IPU CET scores ,the reason being the entrance test of IPU CET law is scrapped since 2019, hence admission is based on CLAT scores only, candidates need to pass 10+2 from a recognized board securing 50% aggregate with English, to know more details regarding this, visit our page at https://law.careers360.com/articles/ip-university-law-admission-through-clat
